This will be awesome I will tell all my friends and family...this show should have a million subscribers...the best show on CZcams....we are watching in the snow storms in Tahoe.. a neighborhood party of Daddy Jacks...cooking shows..Thank you King of cooking...warmest regards Todd and family...
Born and raised in CT..... comin out to daddy jack's next time I'm home! A cook for the cooks!!! Maybe a home chef couldn't completely follow the recipe, but us kitchen workers are with it! Thumbs up on the video when daddy jack talks about cooking for your lover - its so true!
I did a few years waitering at a working folks' diner in Jersey City. Guys like Daddy Jack run eating places that local people can afford and they serve as a solid centre of the community. In my place I saw local folk come together for affordable meals when they might have been isolated in their homes. Daddy Jack and his like are total rocks of the community. More power to you, Big Guy!
Ya know like most of you, I watch these videos and always thinks, ye, ne, try it. (Not many ‘ne’s I assure ya). When he puts seafood to wine and that damn good house marinara that he keeps hidden back there ( cause we know that’s a signature sauce Jack, some say the house sauce either makes or breaks the establishment) so we know the sauce is it. Combine all this into a Diablo and what do you get, perfection. Who the hell wouldn’t love it, well unless one is allergic to shellfish I guess. Sorry to them folks. Cook away Cap, you’re making us want to get to New London all the quicker!
I plan to visit one day on my way back from Rhode Island. Every time I pass the sign for New London I say we are going to visit Daddy Jack's the next time and it never happens...some day!
Ate at the Daily Catch about 10 years ago or so and it was amazing! We ate there because there was a line outside - small about of seating and amazing food!
Well my dear friend all i can say is that YOU DID IT AGAIN LOL , what an amazing and simple dish thank you jack for all your wisdom, from Nicaragua 🇳🇮 👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗👏👏👏 , one day I would love to see your kitchen and maybe meet you , thank you friend
Just found your channel, that looks amazing, I love seafood but I was raised in the West Texas panhandle southern New Mexico and. Oklahoma, you say Diablo sauce in these parts you’ll be able to light cigars off your farts for a week! But that looks super flavorful and survivable lol, becoming a huge fan and if I make it that far north I’ll be in for some good food!
I knew I knew your face! I used to work in Daddy Jacks in Downtown Fort Worth and South Lake, Dominic had a Picture of you 2 together on the restaurant Floor! Your food is awesome!
Can't believe he is torching that seafood for as long as he is, especially the scallops!!!!! Scallops only need a total of 2-4 mins of direct heat. Crazy
Very first job was Red Lobster , worked there for many years back when they actually had line cooks. I can't begin to guess the amount of live Maine lobsters I prepared? That dish looked fantastic Jack, keep on rockin them out my man.
WTH?? I've been watching all the old videos on another channel, not to say there is anything wrong with them because they are great! So now I have to watch👀 2 channels, with Mr. Jack to catch up. Really enjoy your efforts Sir, thanks for posting, now subbed here too. .👍
bon appetit Chef Jack you're the best! Instead of 1 million subscribers let's go for 5 million come on Chef Jack fans let's get to work start spreading the word about this special chef!
If you don't absolutely love this man, and his cooking, then you are dead inside. You're probably an exhausting, know-it-all miserable person, and I truly feel bad for your spouse and family. This is as good as real life, everyday, delicious cooking you will find on this "toilet" we all call social media and the internet. Jack has forgotten all the bullshit we are all trying to learn in any type of fancy cuisine. He knows it all, and he has realized how much bullshit goes in to being a michelin star whatever. It's all political marketing bullshit. Cooking is a pleasure, its not rocket science. Eff that snooty nonsense, and give me Jack's cooking every time. Watching Jack is a true pleasure and inspiration. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos.
Rip my friend. This guy was a great chef, and a great person. I could tell he loved everyone in his life.
Miss you Daddy Jack!
Watching this one for probably the 4th time.
Rest in piece my friend.
Why this chef does not have one million subscribers is beyond me! He is wonderful!
He is as real as it gets.
I followed him on chaplinsrestaurant and went mia... Guess I missed where he started a new channel..
@@Gulfdiver211 This is a old old channel just reposting on here...Maybe a fall out with bob
because he is not with the food #NAZIS
No kidding. He’s a really good guy and he posts recipes in a way that seems approachable. I’m sure he’ll blow up in subscriber soon.
LOL "You cook this for your significant other; it'll be on like Donkey Kong."
WastrelWay no not for me, I cook a meal like this and she’s still the same ol B as always. Gotta find me a new one!
“I don’t shake the pan, because you don’t want flames” yet shakes it and gets flame
There's nothing I like better than watching a chef cooking in a restaurant kitchen. Beautiful!
Looks so good! Love to watch you cook and share bits of wisdom with us. Thanks!
Amazing daddy jack you are one of a kind man
Looks awesome, so great to see all these videos, it really makes my day when you share your vast knowledge and life stories with us.
Love on a plate! Thanks again Daddy Jack for sharing your culinary artistry.
I've made a drinking game: take a shot every time he adds butter to something.
Well, according to Anthony Bourdain, that's the trick of EVERY restaurant.
Jack's lives forever. Great dish and always enjoy watching him cook.

I knew you could handle them, Jack
I miss Daddy Jack "Cooking With The Blues.." RIP Daddy Jack..
I was getting ready to comment, “What? No green onions.” Just then you added them.
Nice and simple. The best food does not need too much flavors or seasoning, The nature taste is the best taste.
