I got 11 madworks chisels with the handle online for ~$90 CAD and while my scribing game isnt too great right now, I know these tools are really nice from the practice runs I've done so far!
Honestly for my first forays into scribing I'm using a #13 saw blade for hobby knives, just scraping out the lines with the first tooth on the tip, super cheap and seems to work well enough for a first HG mod

I have these "hook style" Tamiya scribers which I use for panel lines. But they only go up to 0.5 mm which is enough for panel lines but not these little "notches" I always see on Gundam kits. Would love to be able to do these as well. Recently came across those SAB Panel Liners and gotta order some after your review. I see that they now make ones greater than 1.0 mm!
Is there a scriber you'd recommend for a pure beginner?

I have a cheap Amazon scribing kit and your videos have helped with the technique, but I struggle with laying out designs and making them symmetrical
I am using Mad Work DLC line engraver series for small size scribing (0.1mm, 0.125mm, 0.3mm & 0.5mm). For bigger size one, i am using Godhand Chisel/spin blade set.
@Richard Hart super sharp blade to use as chisel. Since they selling the chisel in set, price is not so expensive compare To BMC.

Hello, I have one problem, my mg dynames is broken in the arm, just the pegs for more movement, now it is with out the arm, so if you can please make a vidio about "How to repair your gunpla"(I think when you build any gunpla they broken and you repair them)
Do you have any more tools suggestions for the beginners with the scriber for starters, I'm thinking about trying to start scribbing and more on customising but I'm not sure which tools are suitable for beginners like me

The SAB Scribers maybe good. The shipping prices of newtype.us are not. $64 only for the shipping to Europe. And that is the cheapest option. In addition to the taxes, most delivery services also charge a hefty 12% surcharge (complete prize) or around $ 30 for tax prepayment. So delivery starts at $100 + the scriber itself + tax = Around $300 for 4 scribers and newtype.us is the only store that I saw yet, which sell SAB Panel Line Scribers.

Thank you @studio_gundam for this tutorial. I have recently bought my set Saab scribers, they are amazing to use AF! But since they are really expensive I would alternate between them and Funtec scribers, which in my opinion is also good to use, but the first. Purchase is expensive since I had to buy a handle for it, but won't break the bank if you know what sizes you have to use. Anyways! Always looking forward to new videos from you.

I've been using a cheap scriber for 4months or so and its fine. The only down side is I have to change the tip using an allen wrench when I decided to thicken the lines. So, I guess ill be needing spare scriber and try those.
