Beautiful beautiful beautiful knives, thank you for showing them. One is none, two is one and three is better lolol so I ordered 3 from Ona's Batangas Blades. The first is a 24 cm brass channel construction with carabao horn inlays with a bowie style blade and the other two are twin 29 cm eagle Bali's brass channel construction with a Rambo style blade and narra wood inlays. I'm not a flipper either, I wouldn't mind learning more tricks though but am content with what I do know, that said I prefer the hand made traditional beauty of the Filipino balisongs.
Right on man. Yeah, I hope more people and collectors buy traditional hand made balis. Industry there is hurting and could use more support. ^_^
@@1stSpear I never realized how much of a decline was happening untill I started searching for them, the modern flippers are cool looking but they have no "soul", mass produced and more of a fidget spinner than knife, a dangerous fidget spinner but barely more than toys. It's sad that the younger generations have lost interest in the art of making a hand crafted beautiful blade. I know I'll be doing my best to get others interested in those traditional blades. Thanks! I'm able to loosen one up enough to a flippable state. The other is still tight and needs to be worked in.
@@1stSpear i left mine in brand new and tightly pinned, if I am flipping ill use a modern flipper and save the cultural icons in pristine shape. squid industries or the lucha for every day flips.
