Time Sert Backed Out on your Outboard? Lets Fix It!!

Repair a spark plug hole insert that backed out on this vintage OMC outboard. This procedure should work for any other small engine application where the old repair failed in this manner.

It’s not necessary to put thread locker on a spark plug I never seen anybody ever do that you were the first one

Couldn't agree more Steve! I put the locktite on the threaded sleeve/timesert that I pre-threaded on the sparkplug, and tightened down the sparkplug to install the sleeve. Likely hard to tell the difference when scrubbing through the video.
