Why it is especially hot in Southeast Asia, and the challenges of coping in this climate

Large parts of Southeast Asia are reeling under the exceptionally hot weather. The conditions have been worsened this year by the El Nino weather phenomenon. Ms Lydia Law, Heat Resilience and Performance Centre co-director at the National University of Singapore's Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, tells CNA's Asia Now why the region has been so-called "boiling frogs" for so long.
