This is a warning to all secular countries. If you allow them the freedom to practise their islamic faith, it will not be reciprocated when they have expanded and are in the majority. The same freedom that you extended to them you will not get back. Same with halal establishments. You give up your inclusive space to let them halal-lise the premise which then becomes exclusive. Think long and hard before extending freedom to them to practise their faith, it is tantamount to you giving up your inclusivity and freedom.

I personally dont mind if someone wants to wear hijab at work and hope they are allowed to do that. But the main reason strict secular countries dont allow religious attire at work (especially government) is cuz they wanna stay secular. I dont dislike Islam or other religions. But plz dont pretend there isnt a conflict in France that could get nasty in the future. The beheaded teacher is a perfect example how barbaric religious conflicts can become. Regardless of the reasons, europeans have long move away from beheading ppl. It speaks miles when this is the answer to disagreemts. And it scares ppl. So instead of turning blind eye, please help address it. I know there is racism in France against innocent muslims too. Which is not ok. But i wont pretend as if all religious extremists are innocent. Indonesia whips gay ppl in some parts cuz of religion. France doesnt. Meaning indonesia is already treating non-believers worse + as subhumans by whippin them. And it's barbaric lefotver from abrahamic religions that found its way into the legal principles of the constitution. I’m from Indonesia and specifically from a province with tendencies to adopt sharia-inspired bylaws and I’m thankful for CNA for this report. Most Indonesians are quick to say that these things only happen in Aceh as the only sharia-ruled province out of the 38 provinces that we have, but we often overlook the fact that there are other provinces that are quietly creating local bylaws that are inspired by religious laws. The public schools that made wearing the hijab an obligation is located in the province of West Sumatra, not Aceh.
Just because in your city/province you have a good relationship between religions, your children can choose to wear hijab or not at public schools, people who are not fasting can freely eat and drink during Ramadan, non-Muslims can build their places of worship etc it doesn’t meant the same things can also happen in some cities/provinces with sharia-based bylaws. We need to have this conversation before it’s too late.

Why disbelievers attack the believers? Because they rejects Muhammad s.a.w worships to the Only true God which is Allah.
Quran 9 verse 12 - this chapter is the most misinterpreted verse from Islamaphobic, always used by the media people who are just quoting the verse like you (not reading the full context). Quran Chapter 9 verse 12
Allah says when is the sacred Months finish? Some scholar says it is the sacred months are the famous months of hijr calendar. Allah called the four months in the verse 2. These 4 months are the sacred months, who cannot fight or go to war on for this particular year.
Basically when 4 sacred months are finish, then what? Then you have open licence, you can fight or eliminate them, or take prisoners whatever you like that it needs to be done.
No, this verse was revealed for the haram and the Arabian peninsula that is not going to be paganism, idol worship in the scared anymore. You cannot worship in the lands of Haram (Mecca). They were given four months, you have 2 options - get rid of an paganism (disbeliever) if you accept Islam, allowing to pray or zakat then you allow them to be what they want to be.
Meaning you have 4 months, you can either pack your bag and get out or FACE WAR.
And that is because it is not allowed in our Islamic sharia law for idolatry to be practiced in Arabian Peninsula which is in Mecca just like in Malaysia, Middle East or Islamic dominant country

It's just 2 provinces (Aceh and West Sumatera) out of 38 provinces in Indonesia. but it's still wrong nevertheless. Aceh is special case because implementing sharia laws was part of MoU for ending conflicts between Aceh's separatist movement vs Indonesia. Looking at the history of Aceh, it was the last region that was fallen to the Dutch indies colonials, for only about 4 decades (1903-1945), but it had been under Indonesia for 65 years but they had to abandon their way of life like forever? so they decided to try to secede, but anything that can stop them from doing it was just a win-win solution for Indonesia.
So it's kind of misleading to include Aceh as an example of islamification of Indonesia. West Sumatera was just being dick. many Indonesian founding fathers were from there, but they seems didn't like to continue their ancestors creation.

In Malaysia, after the isolated and minor May 13,1969 race riots between the Muslim Malays and Chinese voters in Kuala Lumpur where the majority Muslim-Malay population (UMNO party) lost the votes to the Malaysian Chinese (Democratic Action Party (DAP), the government took a drastic stand to pull the poorer Malays out of poverty. It did this by announcing the 1969 New Economic Policy (NEP) which was a massive affirmative action national program in every sector exclusively for the Malays. It was supposed to last only 30 years but even after 55 years, this policy still exists now with much resentment by the non-Muslims ! The program became skewed, hugely racist, corrupted and manipulated by elite ruling Malay politicians and their leaders especially by the notorious, 22-year massive corrupt rule of ex-PM Mahathir Mohamed who all fabulously enriched their families. During this time, Mahathir also cultivated pro-Islamic, anti-Semitic, anti-non Muslim policies which turned Malaysia from an English-speaking, top-level nation in education within Asia to a huge class of Malaysians with a poor standard of English and falling school standards. He also led the proliferation of Islamic schools called 'madrasah' and colleges which further eroded the racial unity in Malaysia. Malaysia's ringgit currency was once the pride of Asia (parity of 1:1 to the Singapore $) in 1965 but now has sunk to an unfathomable RM3.5 : 1 Sing $. The damage has been done and this has led to the brain drain in the country of so many wealthy and educated non-Muslim Malaysians emigrating !

chinese non muslim here......religious conservative people are the same everywhere.....i find it funny CNA would make a video attacking a particular group or religion....
obviously America is a "secular" state and seperates church and state and their policies are not influenced in any way by any religion....if u so much believe them, though i believe america is far more conservative and religious than secular that they would have u believe, their money even says "in god we trust" and often when u see the things many US politcians say and their beliefs and their mannerisms.....it would have alot of their religion's undertones.....and alot of US western policy is often antagonistic against muslims and islamic countries
but my main point is there is a part of america namely the southern republican states that is highly religious and conservative.......about 10 or 13 states or so covering a few million sq km.......within these states of about 100 million americans or so, alot of their local state laws and policies and culture and society and schools and attitudes are highly influenced and shaped by their religious christianity and conservative beliefs and views......even recently they have passed laws banning abortion rights.....
if u are going to criticise and condemn these states and people in indonesia or whatever country for their syria law or their highly conservative policies and culture and practises......
why dont u go to these american conservative states and do the same?go down there and criticise and condemn them for not accepting certain minorities rights or condemn them as being oppressive?why dont u do things or better yet be things that antagonise them and go against their religious views and beliefs??and see the response and hostility,u might even see the end of the barrel of one of their favourite things!!!guns!!!why dont u go down there and tell them maybe to be a little more flexible
u find alot of these muslims practises and beliefs baffling and incomprehensible, guess what i find alot of highly conservative christian beliefs and practises baffling and incomprehensible too!!!!
and i find it funny cause islam and christianity share so many similarities, they are both against homosexuals, they both enjoy a bit of bigotry against women in their views now and then...and the scary part is religious christians in america try to cover this up by pretending that a woman who enjoys conforming to those ideals is a traditional woman or something..yet for some reason the two cannot get along with each other!!!!!

The truth is, Malaysia is a democratic country and the highest law is civil. But, the Muslims which comprises of Malay race as the majority doesn't want to share the right of governing Malaysia with other races unless those people converted to Islam. Don't forget it's not only PAS who wants to implement syariah in Malaysia but there are other parties like UMNO who have been doing it gracefully compared to PAS many years especially during Mahathir time. In public schools they asked the non-Muslim students to take Arabic language as one of the compulsory subjects and many Christian evangelists have been persecuted by the government for evangelising to Malay, and even if you are an ex-Muslim and you want to update your religion to other religion in identity card, the people who are civil workers in the national registration agency doesn't want to update it because the civil servants are mostly Muslims and the non-Muslims usually will just skip the case because they are afraid of persecution by the Muslims. The only places that have better moral integrity is in Tamil, Chinese, and Christian background schools but the government also placed Muslim civil worker in the administration position because they want to make sure that things are done according to Islamic ways. Praise the good LORD, YHWH through Christ Jesud for He is just in all of His ways, He gives free will to everyone and He doesn't act unjustly toward other people who doesn't believe in HIM. If we observe all the countries which are govern by Islam, the first consistent pattern that we shall notice is the persecution and manipulation toward other people who don't agree with them. It simply shows how evil the religion of Islam is.

Islamically, minorities should not be forced to learn Arabic unless it is the native language.
As a Muslim, I am with you against this injustice or other injustices.
Evangelical missionaries can be allowed if there is a treaty in Islam as we don't believe in free speech just for sake of free speech.
Unless both Muslims and Cristians allow preachers in their lands to advocate their religions , then Islamically we are bound to abide by treaties we signed.
      I don't know any.
The best way to preach a religion is living a righteous life and convincing others.
Ex Muslims need to categorize themselves to a way of life . As an ex Muslims, you can be anything. So title ex Muslim is rationally mean nothing about your conduct or beliefs in your everyday life.
If you are an atheist just chose Buddhism which is close to atheism.
Public atheism is not healthy as atheism has no morality to speak off leading to immoral behavior in subsequent generations.
Lastly learn Cristian history of Jerusalem, Andalusia ..
Islam is much more merciful than bible if you read it.
You should pray to the father as Jesus prayed in the garden .

right or wrong is not for you to decide. ppl have rights to live their own way. you find it wrong to drink alcohol? i dont find it wrong at all. nothing wrong with gambling either, it's personal choice. you also gamble everyday by stepping out of your house, you wont know what will happen to you but you take a chance by doing so. your life is a gamble.

By PAS's logic, Malaysia shouldn't have any non-Muslims in government, which means that minorities in Malaysia shouldn't be represented in government. Now that's what we call radicalism.
And see how radicalism has taken them. Due to religion and race being such a big part in politics, Malaysians could only wish to compete against first world countries in the west, at least in terms of development. This is painfully obvious even when you look at the disparity of rights between citizens of different races within the country and even between citizens of different states govern by people with different political ideologies. When you take conservatism to the extreme, you essentially take away progress and development.

I once saw a young mother bringing a new born girl child wrapped in hijab and i asked, is that really necessary, and she replied in Islam, a girl once born must wear Hijab because Islam guarantees protection and status. I asked protection from whom? She replied rape and molestations😢. I was shocked and felt like as though Im in 7th century.
