He never stopped--he just didn't do Big commercial ones but he actually did some great shows and indie films all this time and was on Broadway and the West End.
I would say from the 4 main child actors from HP he has the most varied and longer list of work. He never stopped acting.

Jimmy is smart for asking Rupert about his daughter first. He's extremely introvert and shy and talking about the person he loves most truly opened him up I feel. He was relaxed and talkative for the rest of the conversation and it's very unusual to see that from him. Good Job Jimmy and Rupert I love you so much.
Rupert is relaxed around Jimmy Fallon. I think the fact that Jimmy talks more and doesn't expect him to fill the silences helps. As an introvert Rupert must be socially anxious.

You know what, when I grow up, I just want to marry someone like Rupert Grint. A warm and kind hearted father, a lovely, funny, playful, nice friend, a faithful partner you always want to be around.
I'm amazed and happy seeing three child actors, out of nowhere, spending 10+ years in one of the biggest franchises ever, come out of it all level headed, humble, and still working consistently. So happy for them and they all must have great parents!

I wouldn't necessarily say they came out unscathed. There's was some substance abuse that was quite age inappropriate. It seems like everyone is doing better though.

Being private and withdrawn or having boundaries does not always directly translate into being ''introvert''. Also, many people can relate to that, and he's a PERSON, not a walking ''life lesson''.

It's amazing how much his daughter has in common with my "pandemic" daughter, the same age. My daughter is obsessed with Walgreens, which she pronounced as 'Wongreens". Just how adorable these two little girls are 🥰 🥰🥰

He's such a talented actor. He can play these asshole, wise-cracking east coast dudes so believably that seeing his real personality is a trip. Truly one of the most believable American accents I've ever heard a Brit use. He's really at his best in dark comedy/horror, too. I'm so glad he and Daniel were able to move past their HP days and become these incredible actors who take on such unique and interesting roles
I LOVE Rupert so much since I was like 7 years old, he was my first crush hehe. It's good to see him in Servant and can't wait for Knock at the Cabin. He's such a great actor and person. Love to his daughter Wednesday 🥰

Good job with the interview... Usually, Jimmy sound like deer caught in the headlight, but he did good here... Props to writer, they clearly research about Rupert.
I think it helps that Jimmy is genuinely friends with Rupert. He talked about it somewhere. They definitely did a rehearsal backstage so that Rupert could be put at ease. I love it when talk show hosts accept that not everyone they call is an extrovert and naturally chatty.
