    Thanks for the tip on the wall pockets. That worked out well. I used some left-over command strips rather than what came with them for easier removal.

    I appreciate this video SO much! We just bought our first today. We have two little kids and are so excited to go on adventures with them. We had no idea what we are doing, this video helps. Thank you ❤

      You're welcome. Be sure to check out the modifications for beginners video as well! Tons of cool, easy mods in there.

    I appreciate your video. Not sure why you would do the electric, water and sewer connections before you are at level. Seems odd that you might need to reconnect the trailer to your tow vehicle to make a level adjustment and consequently, put stress on your connections. I always level first, chock and then connect.

    At the ten minute mark he talks about what a pain the steps are. Glad to say we got the improved version of these steps on our 2022 E-Pro.

    Notice that he is using a simple cordless drill, it works just fine. There is no need for a noisy impact driver that seems so popular with folks.

      What is the rationale for using an impact drill?

    • @kellycrist7607

      @@carolsdarksarcasm4223 I don't know. More often than not that's what someone is using to lower their stabilizer jacks and they are very noisy. Plain, old cordless drills are quieter.

    We are picking up a 15Fds this week and it will be our first trailer with a slide. Appreciate the slide tip! Would be interested to know about your stabilizer/weight distribution hitch. We have the Equalizer on a No Bo now and do not like it. Heavy to handle, noisey, and makes the truck front end move sideways in cross winds which makes for touchy control fell regarding steering. Not fun. Plan on trying an Anderson with the smaller 15FDS or maybe none if it handles better than the nobo.

      @chrisc8856 I'm still rolling with a Harbor freight distribution hitch for my rig. I can't say that I have any experience or guidance with other brands, but this one is easy to set up and easy to get hooked up. It's bulky though. We're going on 3 years now.

    Hey a lot of good info. Picking up my 2023 Rockwood Geo Pro 19FDS next week. Would it be better to get it level before doing all the outside hookups or does it really matter as long as your not to far off after hooking up the water, sewer, & electric?

    • @jekell101
      @jekell101  Před rokem

      Definitely get it leveled side to side and front to back. I do my stabilizers after i get water/sewer/power hooked up.

    Thanks for the great startup video. We just bought a 2020 19FBS and will be taking it out on its first trip next weekend to do some clam digging on the coast. That detail on the fridge might have saved my bacon! Thank you! We just leveled out the gravel area next to the house where park the Geo Pro and now we are flat so I can run the fridge while parked. 👍🏻

      Much appreciated. If there's another video you need for beginners, let me know. We're out this weekend in ours and happy to help.
