Ducati know what they're doing. Its just unfortunate they're catering towards the Jaret Campisi's of the world instead of real diehard racing fans.
The only real question is: has 650ib bought one yet?
I guess their are enough millionaires out there to drop 33 grand on a track weapon and an additional 5 grand for an exhaust. Then again if that’s what being a distinguished gentleman is then who am I to judge.
I totally think it’s worth it if you buy the V4s and you try to get all these upgrades it would cost you a lot more than that.
They are worth what people will pay …if they sell them then that’s great for Ducati and the same goes to any other manufacturer selling specials etc ….but what I do find hilarious is massively overweight lumps buying them and then going on about their track times and how 2grams of carbon fibre made the difference in the tight bends on track …just imagine how quick they would be if they left the pies alone ?? 😁

99% individual buyers don’t have the riding skills to exploit the capabilities of this model.
worth it aftermarket carbon wheels alone are like 4k the dry clutch is also another 3k just those 2 alone you already gap the v4s price difference you still get extra carbon bits rizoma footpegs and upgrade to the master cyclinder and caliper not to mention dda/gps mirrow and plate delete kit and 520 chain and sproket drivetrain you cant upgrade the v4s to the v4sp spec with only 7.5k

Great bike, but no, not worth it... as said in comments below, they're releasing too many, 'SpECiAL eDiTiON' Ducatis. It takes the exclusivity out of it. I'd rather have a V4S and option it from there, but even then, those are 34k+ (USD) out the door. I'm glad this V4 hype is here though, because it allowed me to pick up a sub-3k mile 2016 1299S for literally half that.

got the v4sp do think its a lovely bike , but only done 800 miles on it roll on the good weather , trying to see if Ducati has a university to get my head round the settings on this bike 🤦♂️sometimes I miss my fire blade rrp simple you just had to be good to drive it
It’s a beautiful machine but just a few years back that was a year salary for me and my family. and I love their motorcycles wish I could buy another one. I love this one. owner of a 2015 diavel carbon. Ducati has lost their mind on pricing
