Proudly Australian here I grew up in regional country “bush” Australia and one lesson taught early on was ALWAYS shake your shoes/boots! I grew up in a 24/7 police station (lock up keepers) and the police and families were all close, one particular officer was absolutely terrified of spiders and I had acquired a huge plastic but very authentic looking scary spider (hand size) and placed it in Charlie’s boot while he was inside with mum and dad well let’s just say I believe in that moment the spider flipped out of his boot he actually jumped over the moon and lived up to the legend. I also got my mum putting it in her undies draw 😂 and yes I was a “shit of a kid”
Haaaaaaahahahaaaaaa you made me remember when I was a kid, I bought a spider made of wood with hairs and long wire legs. I arrived home right when mom was washing something in the kitchen. I put the spider on one of her feet and she jumped, right before cursing me hahahaaaa it wasn't that bad because there are no big spiders where I live in Argentina.
I used to work on a organic farm and we hand plant all the tomatoes and eggplants only to find the bloody cockatoo and Corellas following us snapping every second plant in Harf
Found 2 huge hairy wall spiders from a local park under gumtree bark ( they leveled that old dead tree 2 months L8tr anyway ) 1 week after filming 1 shedding its skin & escaped from the fish tank from a small plug hole at the rear - you got mesh every hole ##@@## let me out and also 4 geckos escaped 2years L8tr filmed the last 1 walking on the ceiling then moved back to my home town i wish i had the Mobile phone i own now to film back then 10 years ago 2023 got a ute & going in the bush again all aussie adventure time again :)
Glad you got the Hornet with spider.l was hanging washing out and in the corner of my eye I see bright yellow stripe Hornet at eye level carrying a huge Huntsman spider 4 × it's size it almost flew in to my head he dropped the spider which looked stunned it flew down picked up huge spider and flew off. 😮 I was speechless and wished I had my camera.😳
Although most animals in Australia are capable of ending you, none of them seek you out as a meal. However, countries with Bears, Lions, Tigers, etc, etc. Well, should I say more?
