    Idk where people are getting this information that Vaseline is horrible for your skin especially with the eyes. It is actually safe to use especially if you have dry skin. Many dermatologists have encouraged Vaseline to help with your skin barrier. If you are allergic to Vaseline, that is different and you only use a small amount. If you don't want to use Vaseline, petroleum-based balms such as Aquaphor and CeraVe healing ointment works as well. It may not work for those who have oily skin but trust me, it is not 'dangerous'.

    I love that she uses Vaseline!! It’s such an amazing product that really needs more eyes on it. It’s noncomedogenic, so it won’t clog your pores, and it is absolutely safe on the skin. It’s also quite an amazing makeup remover and great for healing the skin and keeping it moisturized (as long as you apply it on damp skin, over moisturizer, and/or are using one of their specialty products like the Cocoa Butter which actively adds moisture back into the skin). • @lacycrum2444
    @lacycrum2444 Před 2 lety +115

    I want to repeat what others have said about Vaseline. Petrolatum is considered noncomedogenic, meaning it does not clog pores. It is an occlusive, so when applied over moisturizer (also called slugging), it prevents at least 90% (I've even read up to 99%) transepidermal water loss. Retaining hydration in your skin helps to speed up barrier repair. Of course, like with everything, certain people may have a negative reaction to it, so if anyone wants to try it, patch test first. If straight vaseline scares you too much, you can always try Aquaphor, Cerave healing ointment (my fave), etc...

I clearly should've known better since she had the smoothest, softest, nicest skin, even in her 80s. It also helped keep her skin as healthy as possible after she was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in her 30s. Its a great product that's definitely slept on.

      @xiopaovid1215 Před 2 lety +10

      @@peculiarcharlotte To be honest, everywhere. She used it literally from head to toe. Even more when she became diabetic, she would especially put some on her legs and feet. People were always shocked to find out that she was diabetic because of how smooth and soft her skin was. Then again, everyone's skin is different. Of course for some, it does clog pores or causes irritations. I think it all depends. For example for me, I eventually learned that I need "clean" products because I have oily, acne prone skin. So anything that's vegan, cruelty free, paraben free, sulfate free, etc. The irony is products that are targeted for acne always made my skin WORSE. So I guess it depends. I think you should give it a go! I mean there's nothing wrong with trying something new right? Obviously make sure to do a small swatch test like your arm or leg to make sure you're not allergic or sensitive to it. I've been using it for awhile and so far it's amazing! Hope it works out for you, good luck!

    Her acting on euphoria is totally off the charts. She is required to explode with
    So much emotion that it must be completely exhausting. If you pay attention to her she just uses facial expressions on a regular basis to communicate her thoughts and feelings and you never have to guess what she’s going for. Her character is on the verge of a complete emotion disaster. I don’t know how you get prepared to shoot scenes like that because it has to be incredibly difficult unless you are just naturally gifted. I’m shocked at her talent. Thank god the casting for euphoria found her.
