Also an esthetician here. If you are still getting dirt/makeup whatever on yo ur timer pad then you are not cleansing properly. Toner isn’t a cleansing step. Sounds like you need to cleanse longer or use something that breaks down makeup lore then go in with a 2nd cleanse then a toner
I do that too. Balm, then maybe a ph balancing cleanser and finish with a glycerin cleanser. So nice and my skin doesn’t feel tight ever. Then I go in with all my other stuff.

wish she'd mentioned how she went on acccutane, definitely played a bigger part in her acne clearups
She is open about being on accutane 3 times, her acne came back every time. She didn’t have a professional skincare routine and facialist until now

i feel like if you used micellar water in the 1st step of cleansing. u wouldnt need to cleanse three times
Girl if you see makeup after just TWO cleanses, you're cleansing wrong, much less THREE...That's NOT WHAT TONERS ARE FOR!! -_-
Toners are multifunctional they are extra hydrating and can be use as sort of an extra treatment for any skin trouble, I double cleanse plus I use toner and pad to get off excess dirt and even products like toner pads make it easier to get rid of that excess dirt , bczz being out all day ur skin needs a deep cleaning after being exposed to bacteria and dirt blowing everywhere, and triple or double cleansing shows exactly why u should do double cleanse, it doesn't mean she's not cleaning properly it juss shows how much we should clean our skin to be extra pre-cautious
She cleans properly, doesn't use weird ass home remedies. Automatic win.
