Wow, what an awesome video! You always have such great content but this video had so many simple tips that would’ve taken me a lot of trial and error to figure out on my own. It’s so much better than recreating the wheel. I loved the double sided tape trick, it beats glueing images onto metal like I have been doing! Also the sharpie and the decorative scissors tricks will serve me well in the future. Thanks so much for doing you and putting it out for us all to benefit from! ❤️

Honestly, your comment absolutely made my day! I appreciate it a lot, thank you for the sweetest feedback ❤️ I know what you mean, the tips that other makers submit to Metalsmith Society page, or share on their own profiles, like Kim, are truly a life savers sometimes! I used to pickle tiny discs for my jewellery and would always move them one by one, but then one day I just realised, why not use a little container with holes and move them all at once?? Or even better - use a little strainer 😄 Same with the double sided tape. Been using this one almost since I've started and never looked back. Less cleaning, quicker to do, I love it.

@@TheArtOfMetalsmithing I am glad I could have a positive impact on your day because you are a constant help and inspiration to me on CZcams and Instagram. I actually just watched your video on people to look into and have already found so many helpful tips on the Metalsmith society page! As of now I am mostly doing wire work and using beads but I have recently upgraded to sheet metal (copper and brass as of now). Next step is soldering and setting stones. There is always room for improvement and more things to learn so thank you for all the great advice and wisdom you put out there. You have helped me with everything from photography, tools, tips and even just watching you work at your bench.
