    Today while visiting Rinkeby, a "problem area" in Stockholm, we had to be "escorted" out by police as many men were getting agitated by our presence.
    The gist of the story is that the police advised us to leave and then said it would be smart to follow us to our car. They did not know where we had parked but are now claiming it was a coincidence that they followed us and was not an escort.
    It is safe to say that Stockholm is much more dangerous than Malmo.

      and this is also another misconception
      hardcore islamists and everyday religious muslims have something similar between them: conservative islam
      sure, one might go with isis and alqaeda, or preaching similar hatred, the other 'normal muslims' don't go kill people randomly
      but they hold similar conservative values, which totally contradict the secular humanist values of the western world
      For example, pew survei shows us that many muslims in the west, want sharia law. Many also approve punishment for leaving the religion, including capital punishment
      those are the same people who are 'nice' to others as humans. Yes muslims can be good human too, its just when its about the religion that these good humans can be bad people
      also, notice that 'normal daily muslims' are different from place to place. You have normal muslim in europe that doesn't care much about religious issues, while there are those more conservative muslims in other place, say pakistan, that will be religious zealots even though they're not those 'hardliners that support isis etc'
      isn't it? just another heads up, one of the stabby boi in recent terror attack in europe is 'surprisingly' good and nice to his neighbors and people know him as a nice person
      notice how a nice person when they're just doing their daily life normally, is not the same as him when his religion is involved

    Well, Tim. You have now experienced the Bureaucratic arm of the Swedish press. Without a doubt, this is one of the biggest problems in dealing with crime like this. When 1 party is flat out denying shit like this happens, you cannot have an informed public.
    Some of the shit i have seen happen in the news since coming here absolutely baffles me.
    About 9 months ago i was on the subway to work. We were delayed for close to 45 minutes as someone on the subway was stabbed. Police and Ambulances locked down the train, the platform and the tunnel behind us. I was there, i saw the person getting carted off on a stretcher.
    A spokesperson later informed the news media that the delays were caused by technical faults in the train line. I cannot believe the blatant lies that they can get away with. If the general Swedish press outlets were to discuss actual crimes and not gloss over them, i believe the country would be a much better place.

      Well this danish female journalist who has been in Rinkeby several days laugh at Tim. facebook.com/tinne.knudsen/posts/10155071179108007
      - I videoen kan man skimte en mand, som hedder Chang Frick, og det er problematisk. Chang Frick er stifteren af det højreorienterede og "alternative" medie Nyheteridag. Jeg mødte Chang Frick sidste år. Hans grundholdning er, at de svenske medier lyver om og skjuler de problemer, der er med indvandringen. At blive vist rundt i Rinkeby af ham svarer til at blive vist rundt i Vollsmose af Den Korte Avis. Dermed ikke sagt, at Nyheteridag.se er ren fake news. De har afsløret overgreb begået af asylansøgere mod unge piger på svenske musikfestivaler, som den etablerede svenske presse - som jeg vurderer det - valgte at ignorere tip om. Men Chang Frick er ikke en mand, jeg går til, hvis jeg søger nuancer.
      Rinkeby er ikke et himmelskønt sted at være. Der bliver begået meget kriminalitet, er høj arbejdsløshed, og så har næsten alle - med meget få undtagelser - en anden etnisk baggrund end svensk. Der blev brændt biler af for halvanden uge siden, og stedet lignede bestemt en krigszone. Men sådan var det altså ikke i går, selvom det er indtrykket, man får af at lytte til Tim Pool. Billedet der af mig er taget præcis på det farlige sted, hvor krigsreporteren mente, at han skulle have politieskorte fra.
      Jeg håber, at mine betragtninger her kan hjælpe til at give et mere nuanceret billede af, hvad Rinkeby er for et sted.

    • @louisesvensson3829
      @louisesvensson3829 Před 7 lety +8

      in english: Yesterday, the US WAR REPORTER Tim Pool chased out of Rinkeby. He had to have a police escort during his escape. The news conveyed Ekstra Bladet, among others. Arg! Panic! But circumstances were now actually so? I think not. There is more trouble with it, Tim Pool reports.
      I have been in Rinkeby for Radio24syv since Sunday, and I have not experienced anything like yesterday, which was for culture and poetry evening. I was not Rinkeby at the same time as a war reporter. At the time I did an interview in Solna.
      But listen here:
      - Pool Tim arrives at Rinkeby pm. 14:30 and touch down on the square. He begins filming random young people without asking permission, and then cover themselves. Police say he should not stand and shoot them without asking permission. What I have experienced is that the locals are skeptical journalists after weeks of very bad press of Rinkeby. So this reaction makes sense to me. War reporter says he gets yelled at and chased by masked men. Police said to SVT that it is a lie.
      - Tim Pool publish a video in which he says that the police following him. It's really crazy, for it does not. In the four days I have been in Rinkeby, I've seen the police run the same route around the city all day long. It is the route that Tim Pool happen to go on. His car is parked at the local school, where police running over next door and parking. Just like they used to. It has nothing to do with Tim Pool to do.
      - In the video you can glimpse a man named Chang Frick, and it is problematic. Chang Frick is the founder of the right-wing and "alternative" media News Today. I met Chang Frick last year. His basic position is that the Swedish media lie about and conceal the problems with immigration. To be shown around the Rinkeby him equivalent to being shown around the Vollsmoseindsatsen of The Korte Avis. This does not mean that Nyheteridag.se is pure fake news. They have revealed abuses of asylum seekers at young girls on Swedish music festivals, as the established Swedish press - which I estimate it - chose to ignore tip on. But Chang Frick is not a man, I go to if I'm looking shades.
      Rinkeby is not a sky beautiful place to be. There are very committed crime, high unemployment, and so have almost all - with very few exceptions - an ethnic background other than Swedish. There were burnt cars of the week and a half ago, and the place looked like certain a war zone. But it was thus not yesterday, although it is the impression one gets from listening to Tim Pool. The picture of me taken at precisely the dangerous place where war reporter thought he should have a police escort from.
      I hope that my comments here will help to provide a more nuanced picture of what Rinkeby is a place.

    • @stefanmansson6734
      @stefanmansson6734 Před 7 lety +25

      Bullshit! Rinkeby is a very hostile suburb. There are a lot of similar places in Sweden. These things happens because the swedes are too timid and accept that the criminals have claimed this area as theirs.
      By the way: No one can forbid anyone to film in a public place.

  • @Pixelkvist
    @Pixelkvist Před 7 lety +98

    It's a good thing that Chang brought up the fact that there are no women in most public places in these immigrant areas, even though he didn't have time to continue what he was saying and his English wasn't that good to begin with. But women aren't really allowed in cafés or bars, they are just for men. This is a phenomenon that's happening everywhere in "multicultural" areas in Europe and I recently saw some female French journalists do a video on this. According to "muslim tradition" or something, women are just supposed to stay home while the men go out for entertainment. If women do try to go to these cafés, men will start to gang up and might use violence. I really do hope that you will cover this too, women's situation in these areas are appalling!

And of course along the way we were constant scam targets.

I didn't give a shit at that moment, but after a while I realized these people had taken my neighborwood. Sometimes you aren't even allowed to park your car in front of their buildings. You don't even have to go to a very bad area to see this behavior from third world immigrants in Europe. As soon as there are muslims, there are problems too. There was an Australian TV-team from "60 minutes" That went inside Rinkeby with cameramen and journalists. It didn't take long before people started throwing bricks at them. Not rocks, bricks. Where about 4 to 6 young men walked up and starting punching the camermen telling them to leave. Are there more dangerous places in the world? Definitely. Is this normal in Sweden? Not at all, which has only increased from the ongoing immigration. There was a suicide bomber who failed from a malfunction in 2010 in the capital, Stockholm, which killed him but thankfully no other around him. If this continues for another 10 years, we'll surely experience similar things to what happens in France, Belgium & Germany. Are all immigrants a threat? That's just a generalization. However, large mass immigration from Islam-dominant countries does not bode well for the European continent. Especially when the government are too timid to effectively counteract the fanaticism of ISIS & Shariah Law that a larger amount of muslims than expected supports.
    I do view myself as a liberal to the heart, but if I'd been a United States Citizen, I'd definitely not be a part of the democratic party, but the republican party. As you said in the earlier videos, this topic is controversial in Sweden and many other countries of Europe, which goes against the idea of being open to debates & free speech. Having the swedish democrats accused as all islamophobes is simply absurd. It's a religion, it's all fair game to criticise a religion or ideology if it's considered regressive within a proggressive society. It's pretty much the same as democrats calling all republicans racists.

    • @Adrian.E.M
      @Adrian.E.M Před 7 lety +12

      So for those feeling appalled, disgusted or "triggered" by my political opinions and view of immigration. If you so need to call me something negative fitting to your picture of me, don't call me a racist, cause I don't give 2 cents about your skin color. Don't call me being fully anti-immigrant, cause my ancestors moved to Sweden from Germany before the existence of EU. And don't call me an islamophobe, cause I'm not irrationally afraid of Islam. But you have all the right to call me a critic of Islam and/or anti-Islam since I have a rational fear of the risks for its existence within western nations and what it can do to society and its culture.

    • @mazi1597
      @mazi1597 Před 7 lety +7

      I don't get why you try to justify yourself for being afraid or critical of Islam. Islam is cancer and should be determinated. Anyone that follows the regressive ideology should be deported. Are we really going to be afraid of calling out Islam?

    • @Adrian.E.M
      @Adrian.E.M Před 7 lety +4

      I'm not afraid of criticising it. Although not at least through social media. There was an event of a friend to my father, who got himself into a relationship with an immigrant woman. it didn't take long until they decided to smack a baseball bat right into his neck. if it wasn't for him having the neck of a bull, he'd die right there. After they detained the relatives of the immigrant woman for this assault, others acquainted to them waited for an opportunity to attack his father on a walk. Both survived the attacks, but were gravely wounded.
      Culture sure differs on how people react to things. If you'd try and find someone willing to be beheaded before being called an islamophobe, you would find such a person in Sweden. Denmark, Norway and Finland seem to handle this situation a lot better now. It's just a matter of time though until SD becomes either the second largest or perhaps the largest party in Sweden, considering that we don't have a two-party system like USA. I wish though.

All animals at Taronga are given some form of Enrichment but I suspect that in the primate enclosure the best/most cooperative artists receive further goodies as it brings in much needed revenue for the zoo. Maybe, someone could attempt to discover some sort of art: carving, stone masonry, painting, pottery, bead making, weaving or using donated old clothes to re-purpose them into more modern garments or maybe (potentially the most marketable) making old clothes etc into SHOPPING BAGS??

Nydala, Söderkulla, Videdal, Höja, Stenkällan, Lindängen. Heck even a neighbourhood close to me called Kroksbäck is an area I do everything i can do to avoid. I once rode my bicycle when i was younger through the area and there were a young group of males throwing rocks at me when i passed them for no fucking reason other than I wasn't from that area. It's absurd. I've grown up and live in the south-west part of the city, called Limhamn - Bunkeflo and this is a middle-class part of the city. My name is Blanca Martinez Santamaría, spanish-European citizen, and 10 years I've been trying to denounce in Sweden the murder and possible organ trafficking of my brother Miguel Angel Martinez Santamaría.
    Stockholm police said the body of my brother Miguel Angel was found floating in the waters of Lindigo - Stockholm on September 22, 2005 in an advanced state of decomposition (which prevented determine the cause of death) but "miraculously" a nurse of the Forensic Department in Solna found a photocopy of your identity card intact in the pocket of his jeans , in which one could read and see all their identifying information. Stockholm Police didn't inform either the Embassy or to the family of Miguel Angel what happened.
    There aren't photos of the removal of the corpse, no autopsy photos, the Stockholm police didn't allow us to see the body, No DNA analysis, .... For the police it was suicide and had drowned, according to the autopsy he thrown from a ship from Finland (no tickets, witnesses, their bones were not broken, .) The postmortem examination of Westminster's Coroner, London County and city where he was buried, found that the lungs were normal (no signs of drowning), no evidence that he had thrown from any boat, signs of beatings on his back and he couldn't determine the cause of death because the body that had given us lacked the heart, the liver, .....
    Stockholm police never investigated the case even when advised of the lack of vital organs; Their answers were contradictory.
    I reported the facts to the Ombudsman and he certified that everything was normal without any reason (The Stockholm police had not given us the autopsy, we did not have any document identifying the body, did not know what had happened to their bodies, ... ). I tried to denounce the case at Stockholm Police but the police denied me this right on the grounds because the case has been studied by the Ombudsman.
    In 2014.01.03 put a complaint and nobody has answered us .
    The family don't know the cause, time and circumstances of death, the corpse delivered vital organs missing, we know with certainty that we have buried the corpse is that of my brother, there are no photographs of the corpse or evidence attesting to the police report, the Stockholm police has not done any research ..... but everything is normal according to the protocols of Sweden Where are the rights of Miguel Angel, European citizens, as a victim of a possible homicide and trafficking in Sweden?
    In Spain it has been all over the Mass-Media (TV, radio, Newspapers,..) and also I have reported in the European Parliament.

    Many of us have watched this strange passing of the Old Sweden. For years. In total, perplexed, bemusement. And we wonder how contagious this sickness is. How widely it has spread in Europe. And if there is any cure. In my youth I was an idealist. A Utopian dreamer. Fascinated with Pacifism and Eastern Philosophies. In my scribblings to this day there are strong traces of Taoist, Buddhist, and Christian thought. But a very harsh note was introduced by witnessing first hand the sectarian violence in Northern Ireland in the period from 1970 onwards. The realization that 'pogroms' and 'ethnic cleansing' and 'targeted sectarian assassinations' were NOT a thing of the past, but ongoing possible manifestations of ancient simmering hatreds within the human family. It has been a long road from the young Idealist of the seventies, to the weathered multiple gun-owner of 2017. Strong traces of the Idealist remain. The Pacifist is dead. Oddly, I mourn his passing. It was a lovely age of Innocence, soaring good intentions, and a far greater faith in the basic goodness of Man than I have now. Experience is tough. Chasing bad guys in a Police helicopter, flying high risk prisoners for the equivalent of Con Air, and seeing the daily grind of Law Enforcement in the United States up close, were mere stages. (see my pestiferous blog) Other great lessons were the sheer dishonesty of so many business men and politicians, and the naked greed of too many people I had simple dealings with. Man is NOT 'basically good'. Many are basically sons-of-bitches. Who ONLY respect one or both of two things: 1. strength and/or 2.PAIN. I know that horrifies many self proclaimed superior minds to my coarse spirit, but I suggest it is sadly true. No amount of wishful thinking, teary-eyed speeches, lofty motives, and infinite free goodies, will deter the mean, rabid b***rd. He just interprets all that 'loving' as a sign of massive weakness. Something to be taken full advantage of. The Swedish men who remain, cowed into an embittered silence, might do well to study the Armenian Massacre. Still furiously denied by Erdogan and his acolytes to this day, I suggest that this route for disarmed, disenfranchised, silent Swedes, in a few decades time, is not merely a possible fate. It is likely. And before you scream "Waaaah! Racism!" I suggest you check my blog, in which I describe successful multi-cultural encounters, working all over the world. Those who know the least, my friend, are always the most cocksure that they alone are right, and everybody else is a dumb Nazi racist. Those who know (and have seen more) are often the quieter spoken. Softly, they try and paint the complexity of Man. For those who will listen. And think. To seek to impose, as the Swedish Dictatorship do, an un-challengeable Sacred Truth from the top down, is a flimsy foolishness. It has been tried, many times before, in the course of Human History. It has always failed in the end, with Truth trampled underfoot. I'm sorry for the Swedes. I'm even more sorry for the remaining Swedish men, who see the train wreck coming.

I CANNOT UNDERSTAND HOW A PEACEFUL COUNTRY WITH BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE CAN ALLOW THE WILLING DESTRUCTION OF SUCH A WONDERFUL COUNTRY.I CANNOT UNDERSTAND HOW A PEOPLE CAN CONTINUE TO ALLOW SUCH HEINOUS ACTS INFLICTED UPON THEIR WOMEN AND CHILDREN. WHAT COST FOR SOMEONES PLAINLY STUPID AND CARELESS POLITICAL AGENDA.

    Don't go in without sniper support...
    Slightly joking here - but seriously - these areas are NOT Sweden, so don't treat it as such. For your own sake - treat it with the same respect that you would, walking around an islamic warzone.
    Congratulations, btw, for meeting the complete and utter denial Swedish people meet when trying to ask about facts. Now, imagine working in Sweden and knowing that this job that you are doing - could cause you to become persona-non-grata. The press would dig up any-and-all stories about you and the people around you. Any bookings you do for dinners or meetings would get cancelled with the excuse that you don't share their "values".
    As a Swede - I am VERY grateful for the work you are currently doing. The politicians are refusing to take action - because they realize that the only viable solution would involve a lot of violence and prison sentences for this group of people. Attempting to talk about these areas in Sweden is (sort of) on par with how I perceive it would be to talk about the USA-crime rates of African-Americans with Ben Affleck. No facts would ever be allowed on the table without instant racist-labels being thrown around.

    • @RinaValentina
      @RinaValentina Před 7 lety +1

      Part of being a crisis journalist is not erring on the side of caution,
      but to go into danger zones and report what is happening when others are too afraid. Tim has covered the BLM riots, he's been on the ground in heated war zone atmospheres. While this footage is enough for those who understand and are awake to the very real dangers, it isn't for those who choose to hold on to this fairy tale that importing muslim culture into western society is a good idea, and they will need more than this to change their minds.
