@Barley block rate isn't very effective unless you have a very large amount of of it, such as with Poppi alpha or Electra. Evading attacks is better because taking no damage is better than taking half damage (or a 50% chance of no damage with Ultimate Shield). Damage is still the way to go in the vast majority of scenarios because the sooner I kill the enemy, the less chance there is for them to pull something unexpected out. Not to mention that not all attacks are physical, and some of the extremely dangerous ones are ether attacks which block rate isn't very effective against. Damage is still king in this, just like most rpgs.

yeah, seeing how my experience basically stopped at the super bosses, i am not overly familiar with the broken strats. watching zeke dunk on enemies was strangely satisfying, and i couldnt help but chuckle when i figured out what he was doing during the intro. XD

the design of her ball is pretty neat and it once again makes me annoyed that only the Aegis girls get to keep the unique design of their weapon regardless of core chip. Aside from that I don't like the fact that her hair and rings clip with basically everything

I have a new found respect for affinity on higher difficulties after I did a common blade only BoC run. On that note, being able to reduce enemies drivers affinity would be nice.
Vess' unique bitball model reminds me of that ball that you put a water balloon in, set the timer, then pops the balloon after it's done. To improve her, Sympathy would also give a 10% increase in damage (up to 60%) when an ally miss. Space-Tea-Time would also increase driver combo duration by 30%.
I didn't have the patience to max her chart... All that farming was intolerable to get ingredients to make good that i don't use... She was the only main game blade that i didn't max...
@Barley Cruelly analyzing this system, it's nothing more than the reset of the cache once the data is overloaded in the computer. To protect the integrity of the vessel, there's a cooldown in the form of 'death' by becoming core crystal again. This was obviously a flaw in the design Klaus made. Given more time, maybe a different method could be found to prevent this. Who knows? Maybe the third game portraits this.

Ladies and gentlemen, the absolute most mediocre Bitball. And it sucks to say that, because I wanted her to be awesome considering how much I love her blade quest. When it comes to actually using her, she pales when compared to her competition. Before I got the DLC, I would bond her to Nia for Chapter 4 for a very small amount of time and then drop her shortly after. Post DLC, she is basically completely worthless outside of driver arts and blade combos.
Sooo, Martian Successor Nadesico... knowing the artist from it made her desing was a blast from the past, the last thing I was aware he had worked on was actually Corrector Yui, and that was a loooooong time ago, I now know he has been doing work, but non of them have had the succes of Martian Successor Nadesico, the thing that made me a bit sceptical about him having done her design was actually the Ahoges (the 3 long lock of hair that goes up and to the front, the name meens foolish hair) his designs never trully had them or as pronounced on his designs now for the game, I think the one skill that could help her be changed is the second one, I would make it a Hunters Chemestry type skill and also have it reduce or negate affinity loss by missing and the like, the other 2 are ok, just not amazing, so balancing her skills should work in he favor
