    Of all the sport quads that existed and currently exist today, the Warrior will always be my #1 favorite. Rode the piss out of them back in high school. Would have no problem owning one again!

    Nice quad. I am in the process of putting mine back together. Put a new top end. Bored it out to about a 400. Extended the a-arms 1 inch and 2 inch swingarm. Powder coated everything. It's coming out great. You said it best, " Redic. reliable. " so that's why I rebuilt mine down to the bolts. Great 👍 video. Safe ride and ride safe!!!

    Had an 88 warrior fully rebuilt converted to a 366 cc and a bit more loved that thing but was sadly stolen 2021 now ripping a yfz450 it’s sick but I still find the 88 more reliable with the pull start in case the electric start takes a crap when your far in the trails that was a life saver in the deep woods unlike the yfz 450 and the warriors engine was literally bulletproof 450 it can take a beating that’s for sure

    I had a 97 Warrior back in my 20’s…was $4600 out the door. Couple things I didn’t care for were seat to peg height was to short(for me) & turning radius…but overall was def a fun quad back then. We went to the state forest every weekend summer of 97 & 98. My friends had a Blaster & 300ex. Sold the Warrior in 2003 tho to a co-worker who actually still has it today.

    I want to get a 95 warrior but does the age of the warrior effect the performance cause 95 is pretty old but will It still be able to do what the modern ones do? Will it be reliable? Or will I have to take it easy on it?

    • @FunGoingFast
      @FunGoingFast  Před 26 dny

      That is a great question. Of course, the older the quad is the more chance things can be wrong with it, but it also really comes down to how well the person took care of it and maintained it. They made the Warriors all the way through 2003 so you could probably find a used one that’s not quite as old as 96. They’re fun to ride quad, but check out my video on five reasons not to buy one and it lets you know some of the shortcomings. Just know getting one, it’s not going to be terribly fast, but it is fun to ride. Yamaha replaced the warrior with the 350 raptor and it does have more updated suspension and a little more power. But I say get what you want it’s your money. Good luck!

    How about the raptor 350?, I’m saving and the best quads I could find here were the warrior and raptor 350, what do u think of the raptor?

    • @FunGoingFast
      @FunGoingFast  Před 18 dny

      I havent had the opportunity to ride one but I know spec wise its much more updates than the 350. The motor has a bit more power amd the suspension is much more modern. Everything Ive read is that its a very fun quad I would definitely go for a Raptor 350 over a Warrior. And you may want to look around the Suzuki LTZ 400. Also a great trail quad and a little quicker than the Raptor 350 but still comfortable and has reverse.
