Lots of Germans love to complain about their lives, but forget, where we would be without you. I'm deeply grateful for everything! Future generations will come to talk of Barack and his ideals no matter the outcome of this race. But I still have hope, even from my home in Canada, I have faith in you Americans. As a dual German-American citizen currently living in the U.S., I really got the global vibe from this speech that I could have never gotten from McCain. I'm homesick for both of my countries, and I hope Obama gives me at least one of them back.
This speech was beautiful. I practically cried. America would just be silly to not elect this man... say what you want about him. I think he's as honest as one can be in politics and that he's going to promise much of what he said he'll deliver. No one can be fully prepped and ready to be the President of the United States America... It takes some courage, innovation, and spirit... Obama really seems to have it.

Thats kind of wrong. His staff organized a small concert so people who came 4 or 5 hours early in order get a good view, were entertained for their efforts. I'm pretty sure there weren't 200t people though.
