- The Colorado Rockies are stuck in a bad spot. In a division they've never won in their 30 year history and it's not getting any easier. The Dodgers have Shohei and others with an endless payroll, the Diamondbacks just won the NL and have a young team only getting better, and the Padres have major star power themselves.
So it's time to try something completely new to try and overcome these odds: A Draft Only Rebuild.
A staple of the channel, the Draft Only Rebuild challenges us to build the team up using only the Rookie and Rule 5 drafts after we tear down the ENTIRE 40 man roster after the first season.
One major twist added for this year: Trades. I am allowing 3 trades in this series, but only for prospects, and only for one prospect per trade. So we will need to time them right and make sure they hit to ensure we don't waste them.

Yeah I think we’re a couple years away from a really exciting squad. We’ve gotten some good use of our top 5 picks for sure.

Will Dorsey get a Spring Training invite? I think he’s worth the eyes on him.
Kopech I think it worth bringing back if he’s cheep. Less then 6 Mill for a year or 2
Figueroa is worth getting potential to 79 at a minimum.
Not this year. Still want more pitching development from Dorsey before we starrt using options.

I don’t know if he’s top 10 but I’m excited about SP Antone Hernandez. A combination of velocity and stamina we dont have with anyone else. I also really like the SS we just drafted. I think he will play a role eventually.
Dorsey gonna have hitting stats in the 90s before he comes up to the MLB. What are the odds he beats the Rookie HR record?
He'll certainly have a shot! He might be coming up year after this one.

To expect him to get 54 HRs is CRAZY talk but to win ROY and for him to be in the MVP race, absolutely possible! I'd say he'd end up with .280 35 HRs 110 RBI

Yo Fiend' and friends.. I am picking at 30th overall with my DBAcks franchise mode so not the greatest draft capital picks. BUT I had a shot at these two players where I was picking. So would you rather draft a 18 year old, (72) Overall , with only 84/B potential. (50h/9, 57k/9, +74 BB/9, -43hr/9, *80 Sta, only -78 velo, Ctrl, 75 brk) Or a 21yo guy (60) Ovr, with 92/A- potential..? That also throws gas, with 99 Velocity! /44 Ctrl/67 Brk (41h/9, 40k/9, 46 BB/9, 61HR/9, +83 Stamina). Thx 🙏 👍👍

The 72 ovr/B potential guy went somewhere in the mid to high 2nd round, because the MLB ranking was 30'ish, so he fell mid 2nd. Now I wonder if I reached to high, for the 60 ovr/ A-, (92) potential, in the first but idk he wasn't falling to the end of the 2nd y'know..so good enough for 1st, idk..
How long before a 60 overall is at least a 72- or close to MLB rdy? Thought's? Thx
What percentage of games do you play?
