But that was a tiny portion of mj’s package so still not really a comparison to be made
for me it's mikes double clutch and layup package. Players like Ja Morant will just try too dunk on you. MJ would leap and then decide whats best. Every game, every quarter, Mike would dunk or reverse layup and it was just how he got to the room while today it's considered the play of the game. Let's not forget how he would league the league in scoring virtually every year from 86-98, where he played a full season. He just scored at will and if he didn't, he was fouled nearly every play which is why he always had a left hand reverse, doubke clutch, or some circus shot.
That's what I've always said his Game is why he's the Greatest player of All-time. The Championships, Scoring titles and all those defensive First team's show his dominance as an Athlete an just the icing on the cake. But his Game, style and like you said his unique flare is what separates him from the rest.
Him and David Skywalker Thompson grew up playing on dirt courts, humble beginnings...but that's 1 of the people Jordan looked up too and thought about going to NC State because of him.
The reason Jordan will always be above Lebron, is not because of stats. It's because Jordan floats, glides, he is what Bruce Lee says become like water, he has a smoothness and grace that Lebron does not have.
This might be my favorite footage of Jordan ever. Not just athletic but incredible flow to his game, fundamentals and fluidity & timing. Best mid range shooter, post up player, defender and finisher of all time and GOAT.
Agree. So lucky that this footage even exists. A rare glimpse into a regular day in the life of the GOAT, back when he was just beginning. Amazing to see how superior he was already.

Nintariz really Steve Kerr. Smh 😂😂😂. The man averaged 1.8 3pt attempts per game for his career. His percentage should be high. He don’t even count. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. The skill level of players now are ridiculous. That doesn’t mean they are better players. There is a difference between having a lot of skills and being a better basketball player
Nintariz if I take 9 3’s per game I am bound to miss more then u if u only taking 2. So my percentage will be lower then yours. That doesn’t mean you shoot the ball better then me.
I am the biggest Jordan fan there ever could be, got the Jumpman tat in '93 before it was cool, named my son Jordan....but as a student of the game, Wilt Chamberlain's stats are literally mind blowing! Wish I was alive to see him play.
If Doug Collins had continued to be his coach with the Bulls, he might or might not have had as many rings but he would have owned almost every statistical category except for rebounds until the end of all time.
Mike was just so fluid in his movements. He really was an artist. There have been great athletes since his time who could jump high and stay in the air for a while, but none were as nimble or as creative once they left the floor like he was. Vince Carter and Kobe came the closest, but even they weren't like Jordan.
This younger generation just doesn't know how really awesome a talent MJ was. LeBron James? He's Clyde Drexler or maybe Dominique Wilkins in Jordan's era, not yet even close to being Magic Johnson.
