    Man, the intensity in this series and particularly this game was tremendous back then in 1993. You could cut it with a knife or blade and see the effects in the air. It was that noticeable. The energy was insane. Kind of like NHL games today.
    Remember the Bulls lost the first 2 games in Madison down 0-2. People were saying the Knicks got this.
    That was narrative, then Game 3, Mj shot 3 for 18 I believe but was more of a decoy. They won down 2-1.
    Then the Goju-yon game happened (54) and he went off. Shooting threes all over the place vs Starks. who played great in this series overall.
    Series tied 2-2.
    This highlight is game 5, now the Bulls are up 3-2
    This was must must-win for Chicago. They wanted no part of a game 7 in Ruckus Madison and rightfully so.
    Game 6 Bulls waves bye-bye and onto Phoenix to Threepeat.

    That handchecking was mostly nonsense. Hand checking a strong or extremely quick perimeter player was mostly useless anyway. It was more of a gamble changeup if you couldnt stay in front of a very skilled guy to disrupt his rhythm. Not something to be use on a jordan, kyrie irving, steph or isiah that and make you look foolish if you miss.

    This is so confusing. Somebody driving to the basket and the defender.. Actually.. plays defense?? Instead of dropping their arms and "taking a charge"??? Unheard of!

    This game proves that if MJ doesn’t retire in’94, they would have eliminated the Knicks and returned to the Finals, possibly beating the Rockets.

      @TylerHingleton Před měsícem

      The Bulls had the chance to eliminate them in game 6, if it weren't for that bullshit call on Pippen, when he contested Derek Harper's jumper. Houston was always a bad matchup, especially in the early-90s, and don't see the Bulls beating them, especially with fatigue also being a factor

      To be honest, I feel had MJ been on the 1994 team, that team would have been better than the 1996 team. They picked up Kukoc and Kerr, BJ & Grant had improved and they had both pair of centers from both 3peats (Cartwright/Perdue & Longley/Wennington). That's 24 fouls right there lol. In the end, the real #23 doesn't lose on the biggest and final stage on any level so the Bulls weren't going to lose.

      @jtremaine23 Před měsícem

      @@TylerHingleton We could also say...had Kukoc missed that GW shot, the Knicks go up 3-0. They only lost by 2. Series closed. I think if Pip had taken it like he wanted, more than likely he misses. He wasn't the greatest clutch shooter.
      SN: I think it's funny that you want the Bulls to win when MJ is not on the team but lose when he is lol.

      @@jtremaine23 The Bulls did get screwed in that game 6 vs Knicks in 1994 cuz of that BS call on Pippen, and would've returned to the ECF without MJ in the picture. Kinda funny how your manufactured idol didn't wanna include that in TLD documentary lol

    Look at the BS foul calls MJ got in this game, which helped ensure that the Bulls took the series lead. Doc drove to the basket, and MJ didn't even establish legal position. The one where he pulled up on Starks at the right elbow, and the latter didn't even touch him. There was rigging going on in the NBA back then as well.
