I was a kid in the ‘70’s and “One Day at a Time” was one of the family friendly shows my mom and I watched together. Good memories! Thanks Steve for reminding me of those simpler days.
Thank you, Steve, for including the video of your mom and brother...as well as your frank comments. Dementia is not a kind disease. Blessings in this new year to you and your family. Love your blog!! Lynn

I’m so sorry to hear that about your mom Stephanie ☹️. And we definitely appreciate every day that we have with ours 😊👍
I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my mom in August. It was hard.
My Mom died at age 54 when I was 34 and my brother was 26. You are right. Treasuring every moment is so important.
How wonderful to still have your mother.
Miss my father every minute of the day.
Hi Steve,
Please cherish the memories of your mother it's been almost a year since my mom died of heart failure at 62. It's painful, but watching you and your brother spend time with your mother is special! Well wishes!

My mom also had a stroke, and she also gets so mad for no reason, too.
I don't get mad. I feel so sad for her. Your mom looks very similar to my mom.
I am so happy that your mom has such a loving family who love her so much. God bless you and your family.
One day at a time was my favorite show still watch it
You are so lucky to still have your mom I was 25 when my mom passed she was 50. I wish you and family a very blessed new year. Take care Steve 💞
Happy New Year Steve, to you and your family! So glad to hear that many of the actors from this great show are still with us. It was good to see your mom. I lost my mom to Alzheimer's in 2003. Caregivers can have many overwhelming days - I remember how my mom's personality changed. It can be challenging. I'm so glad your mom was more lucid at the holidays. Cherish each and every day. You can't get that time back. Here's to a wonderful, safe and healthy 2021!!! Thank you for cheering us up with your videos. I hope you know how much you are appreciated. Blessings - Judith 🎭🎵
Thanks so much Judith. I am so sorry to hear that you had to go through this with your mom too. Thanks for sharing her memory with us and happy new year to you too 😊👍
Sorry to hear about your Mom, Steve. It's so hard to see the ones we love the most suffer like this. Prayers for you , your family , and Mom
Nanette Fabray's niece, Shelley Fabares, was also on the show & still alive.
Thanks for mentioning her Cat 😊👍
Shelley Fabares also sang Johnny Angel and also starred on the Donna Reed Show. I’m dating myself now!
@@TheGraveyardChannel do u have an email account
Shelley Fabares also played on coach with crag t Nelson
Nanette Fabray also played Mary Richard's mother on the Mary Tyler Moore Show. Bill Quinn (Bob Newhart's real life father-in-law ) played Mary's father. I loved Shelley Fabares on Coach! She is married to Mike Farrell (B.J. Hunnicutt) from M*A*S*H. Lots of great movie/tv history in this family.
The love you guys have for your mother HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone
Happy new year Glenna 😊👍
Thank You! God Bless!

So to Kristin 😊👍
I just wanted to thank you for a great update on one day at a time. Kinda fitting in this could be how you are dealing with your moms situation at this time. I appreciate the description about the stroke and its issues. My mom is going thru the same thing. And what you described really helps anyone dealing with it some reassurance. Keep the videos and traveling going.
So sorry to hear about your mom and that you are going through this to Bryan ☹️
Happy New Year Steve!

God Bless your mom and you. My mom passed at 87 and what you are experiencing is almost identical to what I experienced., Keep the faith, and remember to love her.
Happy New Year to you and your family 🙏🙏🙏🙏 Steve.
At 95, my Mom and yours are at the same place in their mental health. She used to love visiting over the holidays but this year I'm not sure she realized it was Christmas. How great that you could still include her in the celebration.
Happy New Year. 38 years today since I lost my Mum at age 60. She has missed so much. Not seeing her grandchildren grow up and have families of their own. I still miss her and I'm very happy your Mum is improving. Take care from Australia.

Bless her heart. My Grandmother fought through the same thing. Numerous strokes which resulted in dementia. It's difficult to endure, especially knowing we can't stop its progression. Hopefully, we'll all have a better 2021. Stay safe and keep up the great work!
Thanks so much Steve. Sorry to hear that you had to go through something similar. Happy new year 😊👍
@@TheGraveyardChannel Thanks so much. it's still awful to think about and it happened in 1999-2000. I think it's equally as exhausting to us as it is them. Take care.

Hi Steve, Another great video!
Nice video
Wow your brother is doing a Herculean job, blessed he is
Fifty thousand subscribers! Here's to the next fifty thousand Steve! The show was one of my favorites and I watched it from when I was seven all the way to 16 years old... they certainly don't make good shows like this anymore that's for sure. Thanks again so much Steve and I hope you and your family are doing well. See you later!
Happy New Year, Steve,
And to your family, especially your Mom. Went through something similar with my Mom about 5 years ago before she passed. I know the difficulties, and I know also that sometimes, having your mom with you from the day you were born, and remembering all of the good times so well, it can be really difficult during those times later in life when things change.
cherish em all, and as the old adage says, change what you can, and learn to accept the things that you cannot. That's probably the hardest part; remembering my mom as the vibrant, out going Lady that she was, and accepting the difference in her latter years as much as we don't want to.
Hope 2021 is a great one for all in your family. Keep up the great work on the channel.
Happy New Year my Friend and thank you for the update on your Mum's health... We've gone through and Alzheimer's relative so I can empathize with the frustration... Be Well and Be Safe .... Your State seems to be suffering the most with this virus..
thank you for sharing the memories with us.im glad to hear your mom is doing good
God bless you and your Mom and family, I'm dealing with a husband with Dementia it's an awful disease.🙏🏾I always enjoy your posts.
Happy New Year, Steve! Thank you for a beautiful vlog about the One Day at a Time cast. I didn't realize Bonnie Franklin passed on my mom's bday, the same year my mom passed in February, one week prior. My mom also had a stroke, memory loss, aphasia and you learn to work with what she has the abilities to do from day to day. What a blessing that she has two sons and family that love her and take care of her. I always played my mom's favorite music and watched Lawerence Welk and The Golden Girls with her. She knew all the words to those songs. I became a big fan of big band from that time on. God bless all of you and sending my prayers for your family in 2021.
You had a beautiful Christmas and your mom is looking well . Enjoy your mom. I lost mine when I was 32 and my dad past 4 months later. Your and family are truly blessed. Thanks for memories One Day At A Time was great and as always it was great. Stay Safe
I remember one day at a time loved the show happy new year Steve stay safe and healthy
