    Great video man thanks! My slash is half stick half rpm parts as well as upgraded to brushless. My local track does not do races anymore but I still enjoy going and practicing.

    Good stuff. Just started racing. Spec slash is very popular here. The club maintained track is right next to the hobby shop. Buy the truck there race for free etc.
    We run everything from 2wd 1:10 buggy to 1:8 etruggy as well as nitro etc. Hard pack dirt track that gets “dusty” and isn’t super smooth.
    So I’ll give this a go!

    Have you added weight to the front or rear of your truck, I add some to the front of mine to make it more aggressive, but I run on lose topsoil, I run 35 in the back and 25 in front with 3 hole pistons, i use pb blaster on my tires and bag them there super soft and lowered it a few millimeters with fuel tube

    hey there i have a quick question i was hoping you can help me figure out?! I installed the hotracing locker for the rear differential and i ran it once still with the stock brushed motor and esc setup, gearing, with a 2s lipo and the motor is overheating along with the speed controller, hotter than I ever have been able to get it.
    could you please help me diagnose why my 2wd slash is now overheating? i was driving it normal not beating or bashing just testing it out, had to cut it short because it was getting soo hot.
    someone said it could be the gearing mesh, but how can i avoid this overheating issue? maybe regearing what would you recommend for gearing, and also if u could let me know any other possible fixes or changes I can make to the slash to cool down that engine and especially the ESC,,, even on my xmaxx bashing it and wheeling up and down the street has never gotten the esc or motor or electronics as hot as the 2wd slash w locked rear got just driving it slow for maybe 5 minutes if that.
    thanks in advance, i cant wait to hear what you recommend!! Im at your mercy please help me out... thanks

    *spring spacers NOT shock limiters,.... limiters prevent droop and spring spacers increase ride height.

    Hey I'm New to this 2wd slash.. I have a question? Is there only 1 throttle? wide open always even if you touch the throttle? or is it just a bad setting on mine?

    • @stpbasss3773
      @stpbasss3773 Před 5 lety

      Yeah that's messed up you should be able to use any amount of throttle you want and control the speed.

      Also wash out that grease ..n replace it with drops of 3 in one oil. Cut yr inside bearing dust covers so no drag on bearing shaft n they come dry 3 in one oil drops and watch this thing fly.no drang on all 4 wheels n engine.coust forever...
      Tip drill hole top n bottom gear hosing n flush out to clean n air add new drops..👍🤑
