Thanks for a detailed review. This is the exterior color (Isle of Man Green) I just ordered on my M8 convertible - waited over a year just to get the B&W speaker upgrade. $157k total. Was shopping the the new SL63 but the Benz has useless rear seats - M8 fits my kids ok. Now the wait and positive anxiety ....
You probably won’t see this but how did you decide when you should buy a car this expensive?

For previous owner of e46 m3 , m6 ...i will never buy m power bmw ever..because they brake down very fast and very expensive to fix..i've bought brand new mercedes amg gt63s and i love it..its 67.000km now zero issue..

No. The 2023 got a slightly bigger screen than the 2020. I can see the difference because i am sitting in a 2020 almost every day

HOLY HELL I’d buy it just for the front seats they look amazing (it’s hard to describe how amazing them seats truly look, there aren’t enough words that could describe them).
Unfortunately they’re extremely uncomfortable.
That’s a large vehicle, but I like it.

I bought a 2020 m8comp gran coupe full option for €147.000 a month ago. New 263.000. Buy then used not new.
If you didn't do a close up of the BMW emblem, I would have thought it's the Alpina B8 you were reviewing. Plus I still feel a version of this or the M1 homage concept with this N63 V8 would have been a perfect 50th anniversary car, not the XM concept.
Time correct for the concept would have been even better, the s85 (maybe with a stroker kit like the e60 m5 csl prototype had, 580hp in a car that would have weighed around 1300kg would have been plenty) with hydraulic steering, and no infotainment system (I wish).
Would have been the ultimate M car.
theirs the m4 csl which already sold out and also the 3.0 csl hommage race car thats being built and sold in limited numbers roughly 70 units and 600,000-700,000 dollars in price

I have a 2020 m8competition gran coupe and i have the “comfort” seats. They come with ventilated seats and warmed seats

@@michaelsarfo540 its great for an m model. It is very long(5m) so its nice for highwaytrips. You just feel the road a bit more. I drove 1300km with it to spain and it was great.

Maybe in a few bad areas they might have some bad roads but most of the roads are very good or in the process of being taken care of so he can take that tired trope and shove it up his big American you know what. V8, quality, space, high status, quicker, has more expensive options(carbon ceramics 10k, carbon exterior package 5k, competition package 20k, bowers and wilikins 6k) its just more luxurious, status and way faster.

you weren't allowed to drive the dbx in spain,or this one in germany. Around the bmw courtyard doesn't count.Hope they at least paid for your flight and food to have you suck up to their cars
It's the four door version of the two door version of the four door car. Those nice smooth roads are what happens when citizens tax money is spent on things that benefit then and not planes and missiles. City and county roads would be better if they weren't wasting 40-50% of their budgets on police forces that won't respond to emergencies.
Better infrastructure would happen if people didn't have their heads up politicians' behinds over bs talking points that don't really take the truth of the matter into consideration. These people would rather settle for a mid-tier box on wheels if other people they don't like for no reason got a low-tier box on wheels if both were offered a high-tier box on wheels for the same amount.

Nah. I’m on the M Owners forum and know a lot of guys who have M5s with the same engine. They haven’t experienced any major issues…Which is why I pulled the trigger on a brand new 2019 M5. I also got the extended warranty tho just to be safe. 😅

Nah i have an m8 competition gran coupe 2020 and its great like all the high end bmws. The bmw with problems are old, low sized engines and not good taken care of/ maintenance not by bmw. High end bmws are very good in my experience.

@@Utubeisazzho its reliable. I have a 2020 m8competition gran coupe. Most of the bmws your talking ab are old, low engine size and not good taken care of/ maintenance not by bmw. High end bmws are very good. You are talking shit ab bmw but you probably never had one
@@JaydenvanBemmel had 00 porsche in 03. 06 bmw in 08. 2012 s4 in 16. Q7 in 18 still have. Better off spending m8 money on a class A and travel with the family lol
@@Utubeisazzho the m8 can be sporty but also a very comfortable family car. I traveled to spain (1300km)with my family(4)and it was very comfortable and we could bring a lot of stuff with us because of the big boot. Good luck with your family in your a class.
