  • A Bluebird day in Fernie BC.
Brought my PanasonicG9 to the mountain to test out the V-Log picture profile, which just happened to be the first day that polar peak was open this season.
    Filmed on Panasonic G9 with Viltrox EF-M2 & Sigma 17-50 2.8
Edited with GHAlex and a custom LUT.

Can't tell the real deal in detail since it's in 1080p but the image looks way soft to me.

Great videos. Did you have any issues with the camera freezing with the lens and viltrox adapter? I have the same set-up and I experienced some attached lens errors, and freezing. I did update the camera to the latest firmware and adapter, and it hasn't happened since, but just wanted to see if you experienced anything.

I think i had the same issue initially as well, but since I’ve updated them it’s been fine

Beautiful footage. I just got my G9 and posted a video from it. Quality is outstanding in the G9. Btw, Do you see an improvement with the V-Log? I am considering buying it. Let me know your thoughts :)

Thanks a lot! To be honest I'm not sure I would be able to spot the difference between footage shot on HLG vs V-Log. I'd have to do a proper test comparison between the two (could do a video on that at some point).
That being said I'm really happy with the results using V-Log, and I think that being comfortable working with log footage would be really useful for future projects.
