The spider-like structure looks better on the old Nintendo Switch but once you started rotating everything else shows a bit more class in the newer one.

By the shadow angle and the light source the one on top has a morning sun and the one below the shadow is under the structure not on an angle so it's like 12noon direct sunlight
IF you play mainly handheld, the OLED is a great upgrade. BUT if you just bought a Switch V2 recently, its hard to justify it. You prob need to sell your old console (at a loss of $100), and then buy the OLED for abt $50 more. So it will still cost at least $100 - $150 to upgrade. Im still torn since the Switch is so old now, and we dont know when the next Switch model is coming out. (presumably 2024 if it gets announced in 2023)
I play mostly in handheld and a lot of games where being in the environment and being able to spot small details is critical. I think it would make a lot of difference in those type games, especially when you’re in darker environments or nighttime settings. In games with a lot of combat or speedy movement may not make a ton of difference in improving playability. Hopefully I can see one in a store in person soon. I was hoping for better specs in the internals but understand with the chip shortage that can’t happen yet. Maybe next year.
Ive got oled but the v2 screen looks more natural there both pretty good! I was completely new to switch had a lite for a week sold it to get OLED switch because i was so impressed with the lite
Feedback: Your voice is cool, I like your accent, but I can't stress this enough - you need to have a script written. Also, if you're going to have the word gameplay in your title, I was kind of hoping you would have actual…gameplay. That being said, you do have a pleasant voice so you have that going for you. Hopefully you see this at some point, meant as genuine feedback that might be useful rather than just complaining. 🤟
Just got OLED one to replace my v2 and ohh man colors are so bad... I am so disappointed. I can leave with non natural vividness but the white balance is so bad neutral gray is going into green and white is so blue. On v2 every color is so natural and white is always white. It feels like a downgrade for me
which would you reccoment be getting nintendo switch v2 with 10games nintendo switch oled with 0 games or steam deck with a lot of games but without the games what should i get
for me the non-oled looks better....the oled looks hyperrealistic...dunno yes the colors are vivid but unnatural, also too bright, it will kil your eyes

I sold my lite after getting an oled def the best out of the 3 switches and graphics look more crisp smooth and colorful!!!!! People are hating on the oled oh well sucks to be you let us oled fans enjoy are beautiful games for the go!!!!! I dont see sony fony company making any habdhelds nintendos not behind....they do theyre own thing and dont compete like children!!!!! Bu bye Sony even microsoft is better now then playstation.....ugh lamestation.....fanboys mad at the oled its a great system get over it lol!!!!!

Needed to turn “vivid” mode off on the oled which over saturate’s the colours

The OLED is set to "Vivid" mode on standard, to get more natural colors you should put it to "Standard" 👍
