Dixie Model Railroad: Day After Thanksgiving Action

We find ourselves trackside once again on Chattanooga Road on this slow afternoon with three CSX freights. Follow the northbound Tote CSX Q126-22 as it swaps the crew at Alton Park and makes a run to Stevenson, AL, meeting the south CSX Q515-24 heading to Waycross, GA. Last, we follow the slow road switcher freight Q583-25 as it heaing to Craven Yard to pick up and set off cars before continuing south to Atlanta, GA.

I love how CSX unlike some of the other railroads can go anywhere with dual engines.

I always enjoy seeing what modelers have done with the “corners” of their shelf layout-both inside and outside. The true modeling geniuses are the ones who can turn corners into assets instead of liabilities. As for me, let’s just say I’m not a genius. I have yet to do a corner that I’m really satisfied with.
