HO Scale CSX AC4400 N⁰ 454 "Spirit of Magnolia"
This is a custom numbered and weathered CSX AC4400CW from the recently released run from Scaletrains. original, this motor came as N⁰ 391 "Spirit of Dante, " which is now a common model. So I took the liberty and re-numbered it as N⁰ 454 "Spirit of Magnolia" another Spirit unit it that is on borrowed times on CSX.

CSX Q583-25 polished the rails as the short freight made the run south for Chattanooga. With 2 hours left for this inbound crew, the dispatcher gave the train the clear path ahead to get to Chattanooga before running out of time.

With the inbound crew running out of time, it was decided that the crew change for Q583-25 was gonna happen at Wauhatchie. I’ll forever scratch my head on how people can build superdetailed layouts and weather the cars, but can’t seem to paint the shiny metal wheels! That’s the first thing that gets painted when I pull a car out of the box or otherwise finish building the kit!
I always enjoy seeing what modelers have done with the “corners” of their shelf layout-both inside and outside. The true modeling geniuses are the ones who can turn corners into assets instead of liabilities. As for me, let’s just say I’m not a genius. I have yet to do a corner that I’m really satisfied with.
