How To Make a Race Car Splitter With Alumalite: EASY!

  • Race car splitters are disposable because if your not ripping them off once and a while your not driving hard enough! Since we are not the factory BMW Motorsport Division race team, we make them out of 10mm Alumalite. This material is great because it's cheap (compared to carbon), stiff, and easy to work with at home. It can be found online but also can be ordered at most local sign shops. Follow along for some tips on how to make your own splitter for your race car!

    I'm enjoying these Aroe DIY's. unfortunately I don't have a custom front bash bar on my e92 and I'm broke as well so I'm ganna have to get creative. :D

    Could you link where you bought the threaded m8 clevis mounts? I can't find them anywhere lol

    Where do you buy this? It’s really hit or miss online with pricing. I don’t see any on amazon

      a local sign store, Alumalite is used for a lot of road signs.
