Garfield did you up the 120A esc on this? Is it needed? I'm thinking of going from 9s to 10s but I have a 120A. My next esc purchase might be a 120 or a 130A. 160A ones are just quite expensive esp if it's not necessary (and huge!!). Cheers.
120 castle creation will work for 9 & and 10s, but I would go with the 160 castle creation instead personally. Your going to pull 162 amps on 10s and about 135 on 9s.
@Garfield Houstan thanks mate. My Avian 120A is doing OK on the 9s 5°. Just the jump to the 10s is a jump in cost too. Are you keeping 5° on both 9s and 10s? Also are you using the program card to adjust the castle 160A? Would you not say its a bit physically large for the F22 install? Cheers
Greetings. Yesterday I flew mine 12 times and had a blast. Cannot imagine using your 12s setup. Right now I'm using 6s stock setup. Did you by any chance modified the bottom ducts using only the stock 6s setup? If so, did you notice any difference in performance? Thanks
I've never used a 6s setup in my F22 always 8,9 or 10s. That said, I think it would definitely increase the performance as well as the sound of the jet . well worth the effort to do it.
Thanks
I meant to open up my cheater holes before my last maiden on this bird. I’m glad I came across the video again! Thanks! 👍🏽
Do you do the mod? Its better?
I have 6s version 9b
Is exactly what I was thinking to do. 10s
Garfield how are you doing your battery layout please? What battery combo are you using to make things fit?
Yowoo 4000mah 6s and 4s and 3s. The SMC HVL 4400 6 and 4s works as well.
