  • How I built my first few kilos of muscle. Plenty of mistakes on the way but who's out here starting perfect from day one anyway?
    If I get 100k subs I'm quitting my consulting job
    I film everything with the camera on my phone. One day if I get CZcams famous I'll film using a real camera, until then, we roll like this. Also, I'm deliberately not telling anyone I know IRL about this channel; lets see how far we can get

    your videos has helped me so much. i've been really consistent (3 days a week for 5 months now) and dropped my previous pedantic behaviors which really caused me to burn out and not see long-term results. keep up the amazing videos!

    Deyou this is gold thank you. I'm making great progress now and I was kicking myself for floundering. We've both been tweaking the recipe, practicing some self observation, and boundaries. Your arms look amazing!

    TL:DR version: I really like your content, it helps me a lot, I hope your channel grows mate, cheers from Poland!
    Full comment: I've just started going back to the gym... again. I used to work out regularly, then had a long (like literally 7 years) of no fitness at all (people, learn from my mistake, don't stop your progress) and now I've been trying to get back to the gym but I'd consistently sabotage myself because I was expecting myself to be perfect going back + I was dealing with divorce and some depression afterwards. Guess what? I'm far from it. So I've decided to screw it all, actually go to the gym and do my very limited best. I go to the gym in the morning, before my 9to5 and that's something new for me. In the old days I'd go in the evening, but now I just feel that if I don't go in the morning, before my work, I won't go at all. And that's fine, because the gym is mostly empty which is also nice, not having to wait for equipment. I try to do the same push/pull/legs split and start really small - I mean REALLY small... with even just bars. I do that, because I need to re-learn most of the exercises and need to watch my f**ked wrist (being 34 and out of shape sucks). I'm sore all over but at the same I've not felt this proud of myself in literally YEARS, so I'm trying to stay consistent and make small but steady progress. I've never been able to care too much about the diet, my recent "achievement" being finally quitting sugar (you know sweets and especially sodas) and just eating healthy, now I'm trying to increase the protein intake as I train.
    I can wholeheartedly agree with what is said in the video about the pro athletes and fitness influencers, even adding to that: people, stop looking at them. If anything, it'll make you depressed that you're and they're miiiiles over (I know it did make me depressed). What is the better way is to focus only on the next step: literally - is my TODAY making me better, even if just tiny bit then yesterday? Repeat over and over and I believe results will come. Learn from my mistakes: don't quit, especially on yourselves bros/sis'. And thanks Deyou for your content, keep it coming man!

    Great video! Do you have any tips for losing facial fat? I'm 13% body fat with a decent amount of muscle but my face is still round and puffy. Every time I start bulking, the extra weight goes directly to my face, and cutting doesn't seem to get rid of it.

    • @deyousi
      @deyousi  Před rokem

      I have the same problem. You can't really spot reduce i'm afraid. But if you keep cutting the fat eventually will come off, it may just be the last area for it to come off of for you

  • @ru99414
    @ru99414 Před 2 měsíci

    This is what I'm so sick of, you come off as surprisingly well compared to all this shit CZcams, but its always the same problem, people have worked out for fucking 6 days a week and then say oh it's too much. People like this can allow themselves to be sloppy after making their whole life revolve around that, and then it's so misinformed suddenly telling people how frequent you should work out based on what works for them at this point.... Well then your tip is still useless for people who haven't worked out for 6 days a week or have spent 70% of their time on training. Still useful to evaluate for myself, but don't think this is something you can tell people to follow...

      @deyousi  Před 2 měsíci

      I hear what you're saying.
      My point was that I could've probably made the same amount of progress going 4-5x a week instead of 6. And if I could go back in time, I would not do 6x a week again.
