Thanks for the video! Just did this job last night and can confirm removing rhe battery box does not work and as I discovered is WAY harder than just removing the motor mount, which was stupid easy I couldn't believe it. I even used the Torrents supplied car jack in the trunk to support the oil pan though it felt like it didn't even need it. The motor is not going to fall out lol. Once the mount is off the 12mm bolt popped off easy, the 24mm drain plug easily came off with a crescent wrench and I filled the transmission with a $10 funnel and hose combo until she puked out the top. Checked the fluid seemed about right. Job done. Drives amazingly well 200k miles.
Better to come in from the top with extensions and a grabber tool and use a funnel with a long spout vs pulling that mount. Also, just pull the bleeder valve to check the level vs using the stick.
Buenas noches no se inglés.pero mi duda es si mi camioneta prende después de algunos minutos está encendido el motor y no da avance ni para delante ni atrás. Después apagó el motor espero de 10 a 15 o 20 minutos y le doy marcha al motor.y alcanzo a caminar muy poca distancia y después nomás ya no quiere avanzar cuando camino es a muy baja velocidad. Alcorto te tiempo vuelve el problema y nomas no avanza.cren que se ese aparato amarillo...✌️gracias.
Ese aparato amarillo nada mas es la barrilla para checar el aceite de transmission. Lo cual si pueda ser el problema que tiene ustd es que le falte aceite de transmission o algo mas complejo.
THANKS .... i now understand how STUPID GM engineers who designed this are .... Question : Will "dirty" tranny oil affect RPMs (could not go over 50 miles/hour ... and Reverse would work 50% of the time i tried ... ?

I dropped the 12mm bolt OMG. what would be a replacement for it, if I can't find it. Thanks
It's possible to get it from the top and what tool did you use for that 12mm bolt?
Think engineers would design us a flexible dipstick tube that mounts at bottom and top by now...

Could easily just pull the battery and the battery box out and it's right there . Then just grab a regular tranny funnel and wala

Have you replaced the transmission fluid did this fix the problem? I’m having the same issues low car shaking and reverse don’t work sometimes
