- Here's an update video on my current home/garage gym set up! With the pandemic going on and being put in quaruntine, I've had plenty of extra time to piece this together. The only issue is... I haven't actually priced out how much I've spent! So, we will do it together in this video.

Nice set up... To make the shockcord on the concept last as long as possible store the handle with the least tension and only place the handle where you did when ready to use it.. Maintains the most elasticity this way

Back in March I ordered the Inspire FT1 functional trainer, I get all the weights I need in a small package that fits in the corner. Very pleased with it.

Awesome! I messaged you a little while back and I ended up having to put the wood up behind my stringers. The concrete walls in the garage weren't poured solid so I had to go the Tapcon route instead of the anchor option.

If you do get a set, def try to piece one together through FB marketplace, craigslist or there's a bunch of other companies selling sets.. (most of the hex are all the same anyways)

Can you tell me your experience with using the different plates. Between brands for price, performance, why one or the other?
For the price I really like the Rogue V2's.. and would say if you don't mind the size difference and having more bounce then go with some crumb rubber plates.
Most of the rubber plates, along with urethane are made overseas anyways from the same source.
Nice setup! I see you have some foam shims under the front posts of your wall mount rack. What are those for? I just bought the same rack and I really want to make sure I can keep the feet as flush with the floor as possible to make sure there are no issues if weight is dropped on the spotter arms. Was curious about how you handled that
Thank you! Originally I just threw some foam material that came with the rack under but then I found some rubber pads on Amazon that work great.. the are linked in the video! “treadmill pads” I believe

Can you address the supports under the rack? Why you needed them? I have the rack on the way (same one you have) and the horse stall mats set. Will I need to account for this? Please and thank you. Airborne all the way.
I just had to account for it due to a slight angled slope for my garage floor... so you can either mount the rack on the wall to account for that or just do what I did. But for some, the stall mats covered it for them!

Regarding the treadmill mats that you used for your rack, did you have to get different sized ones due to the garage slope?

Do you park your car on the stall mats? I'm wondering how well the stall mats hold up if I park my car on them every night.
I don't, just have the other half to park my car but I do know others that do and they hold up fine.. just need extra cleaning from whatever the car leaves.. The stall mats are for livestock up to horses so they'll hold up fine!

Hey, I was wondering where you got the 5-50 dumbbell set? I clicked on the link but the only set I could find there said $950
So I had to piece together the set mix they’re CAP dumbbells from Academy.
You can watch ROGUEs site when they become available but it’s a tough one to grab
@@just.j.c Gotcha. It looks like if I piece together a set from Acadamy now it would be around 700 before shipping and taxes. Doesn't look like it matters rn though since it's all out of stock lol. I found a store selling a set of 5-50 at just under $1.4 a pound brand new if you preorder so I'll just stick with that. Sadly rogue isn't really in my price range anyway. Thanks for the help though
