Türkiye doesn't always make a show of compassion for other NATO members.

There's always blatant Turkophobia on this channel. By not showing Turkey as a NATO member, and not even mentioning the fact that Turkey has supported Ukraine since 2014, (and was sending billions of dollars worth of arms while Germany offered to send helmets and Macron was cosying up to Putin) is done on purpose to make it seem more nefarious than it is. This was similar to the Nagorno-Karabakh situation, in which you mentioned Armenian's leaving the region after the war, but failed to mention how it was illegally annexed by Armenia and thousands of Azeris were butchered in the 90s, with several million being made refugees.
If you honestly want to be a neutral channel, you need to get out of your tiny westoid Anglo-box and views of 10% of the world, and at least attempt to see how the other 90% of the world looks at geopolitics, because this is sloppy and basically propaganda.

Turkey hasn’t been showing itself as a NATO member for some time, it rides the fence which strategically makes sense. Turkey supporting Ukraine in 2014 is an outgrowth of combating the threat of Russian coastal encroachment to Turkish dominance. Erdogan used the Swedish as a way to get concessions just like playing NATO and Russia against one another to benefit itself in the canal project into the Black Sea.

Moskova was shot by NASAMs in a UK operation and the UAAVs/Naval drones were filmed being imported via Poland. The Ger government outed the UK Military being based in Odessa where they run the operation using ISRO from US P8s and Globalhawks in the Black Sea,
The only operations Rus need the BS Navy for is PGM strikes and only a single cruise missile carrier has been sunk.
And why is Ukraine "without a navy"? Funny how that's never brought up in NATO media. The entire UA BS Navy, including 50K sailors+officers and the FIFTH largest Fleet in Europe, defected to the Russian Federation when Crimea seceded from UA in 2015. And no they weren't forced. The UA AF bases stayed with the coup Kiev Gov and RF freely allowed them to take all Aircraft and equipment to mainland UA.

They can't block military vessels except for countries in war. Which this rule is used only the second time. The first one was during WWII. So, it is very rare anyway and is only for countries in war. For countries not in any war Turkey can't block military vessels with the correct tonnage.

Also beware of the graphs they show that can be misrepresenting e.g. showing only a period certain period of time (showing a 5 year period causing the graph to show an immense increase or decline, but if you'd look at a period of 10 years the graph would be less shocking) or starting at a graph at a high or low value (e.g. when talking about inflation rate they put the figures in a graph which bottom is 20% (in the bottom left corner) and top level is 30%(in the upper left corner), thus showing a huge shift while if it would be a graph starting at 0% going up to 50% and then put the figures in the graph it once again would show less spectaculair results.

    - Even during the Cold War Era, Turkey did not allow military drills in BlackSea carried out by NATO with the strategy to avoid provoking Russia. Otherwise this area would turn into something like Persian Gulf today... NATO is sometimes becoming a military organisation to protect itself against (albeit all decisions are supposed to be unanimously taken).
    - Türkiye helped Georgia with building an air base, which was immediately destroyed by Russia during its annexation of Abhasia and Ossetia.
    - There is also a pipeline between Samsun (city in BlackSea) through Ceyhan (town in Mediterrenean Sea), which is being used by Russia together with Kazakhtan and Azerbaijan oil exports. Existence of this infrastructure significantly reduces naval demand on the Boshphorus traffic.

In the Black Sea, the borders are definite and there is no tension over them. The rising power of Russia in the Black Sea is not something Turkey desires. Restricting warships from entering the Black Sea is in the interest of both Turkey and Ukraine.

Russia gained more ports and control larger cost line. As war in Ukraine has shown, the black sea is a puddle and no navy can feel safe there. No air defense can protect anything. Advanced AD systems as patriot and s400 were destroyed by a direct hits, those, AD can not defend even itself. However, sanctions and restrictions on Russia allowed Turkey to greatly benefit from the conflict. This should have been emphasised instead.

1:53 ??? Turkiye is a NATO member as well
Also failed to mention pipelines from Azerbaijan to Turkiye
Crazy how this is being spun as Turkiye on its own when they are NATO and have been almost since the beginning
Discrediting the alliance and of course taking shots at the US, because well that seems to be the par for the course. Lame
I'm happy for Turkiye no matter what, but I would be hard pressed to assume this was "all on their own" as they have long standing relationships with all western countries.
This type of rhetoric makes me sad for the world leading into the future
