2020 - 2022 Explorer ST Factory drivers side intake tube removal / install and modification.

This is how I remove and install the drivers side factory intake tube on a 2020 - 2022 Ford Explorer ST with no special tools. I know alot of people are buying a special tool to remove the spring clam but this is how I do it without that special tool.
In this video I also have to modify the stock tube where I broke the boost reference bibb/nipple off the factory tube.

@@KnightsGarage not at all! my intake should arrive today was wondering how I could get that driver side intake off without having to run out and get a new tool. I appreciate it

@@jim6807 yeah I didn’t want to buy it either just for that. Have to be careful so the channel locks don’t slip off, but it’s not like they were easily slipping off for me. I did it this way three different times with no real issues.
