Conversations and transactions like this are what I need to see. So often in Western media those from smaller villages are typecast into stereotypes of needy individuals who have little to nothing to offer, which of course is far from the truth. In all my years as an African American, this is the first time I've seen a piece that features humanity, camaraderie, philanthropy, and business sourced from an African farming village. I love to see these interactions and connections between Africans. Many don't see things the way I do, but I believe this connection with each other (Africans all around the globe) is the path to gaining true independence and freedom. Thanks Wode Maya!

And wode maya being in south sudan and giving us this video brining us Africans closer together is a cause for celebration. Coupled with the fact he gave back to the community by donating it to the underprivileged orphanage children for them to be feed, has done way more then afew dollars would do sitting in a collection box... I am sure the sellers would not complain.

I observed a similarity with our culture here in Namibia when you were handing out the food to the children at the Orphanage, some of the girls were bending (slightly and briefly) their knees in respect, exactly how our girls in the Oshiwambo culture do it. warmed my heart further when I saw that. keep it up brother, you are born for this.
