I'm a South Sudanese born in South Sudan but raised and educated in Uganda all my life. My journey to Uganda dated back to 1993. We have heard about these stories in the past while in school and among our peer groups, but I'm glad this video has shed more light on those stories. Uganda is a beautiful and amazing country, I feel more Ugandan than a South Sudanese.

Kooki is the overall area with Rakai as its major town.
A lot has been said about the issue of cannibalism and many have blindly believed it for years. I was there once with a group of friends and found the people very welcoming and engaging.
Many of them believe those rumors have hindered economic activities including tourism from coming to their area.
Shining a spotlight and helping clearing the name of not just that area but also the accused people is very commendable.
I wish the Kooki administration together with the Ugandan government can ride on this publicity to lure more business into their area.
