This is the best DIY auto repair video on CZcams. I was going back and forth on whether to use resistors or a relay, and the whole "take the dash apart" thing seemed like so much work for so small a thing. Fond this video, done in 15 minutes--though most of that was finding a way to contort myself to get under the dash, because I'm tall. 2001 F-150 Super Crew.
After watching all the videos, I tried your way first because it was the easiest. I am so glad I did. After ordering the Motorcraft flasher relay which didn"t work out because I had replaced all the bulbs in the truck with LEDs, I got the E27 flasher on Amazon which worked, it took me about five minutes to fix the problem. Thanks for the video, it saved a lot of time. 2002 Ford F-150 Lariat
Thank you so much. I've been fucking around with this thing all day. There's another part under there that is exactly the same as the flasher. I replaced it by mistake and my truck wouldn't start. Your video saved the day.
Gabo you are thee man !!! Like everyone else here I saw many videos that just took way too much lower dash off just to get to a fuse box. There had to be an easier way so I kept looking for that true short cut and lo and behold your video comes up. You are sooooooo right that the key is to get that flat head screwdriver behind that clip and just pull the box off. I didn't even have to pull that wire harness out of the hole, rather I just moved it over just enough. Quite frankly I spent more time pulling the old relay flasher fuse out. Mine was very stubborn to get out. I will say if you are getting up in age or overweight contorting your body unless you are in shape or young will be a challenge. Thank you, thank you, thank you !!!!!
Thank you so much, my friend. Doing it your way was tight, tight, tight and I may have injured my back but it worked!!!! BTW, it's much easier to release that clip by inserting that small screwdriver on the side rather than on top.
Ok so this guy is the GOAT.... I was fucking around with this stupid thing for over an hour until I came across this vid.. PERFACTLY DONE.. He is right don't take everything apart just find that clip the thing drops down and the change is a freakin snap... Wow great job buddy keep it up. Thanks again.
This worked on a 2000, I replaced both the flasher and signal relays after I checked fuse. Thank god it worked otherwise I’d have to pull the steering column open. Took less than 15 minutes.

Thanks for the video. This is super helpful. The other videos showed people removing that front panel. This is way easier.
