- In this episode on Tekniq, Let us witness the immense hard work and meticulous processes required in producing Black Salt, Unbroken Salt, and Himalayan Salt, followed by the mining of Stone Stoves.
" Traditionally, the salt was transformed from its relatively colourless raw natural forms into the dark coloured commercially sold kala namak through a reductive chemical process that transforms some of the naturally occurring sodium sulfate of the raw salt into pungent hydrogen sulfide and sodium sulfide.[6] This involves firing the raw salts in a kiln or furnace for 24 hours while sealed in a ceramic jar with charcoal along with small quantities of harad seeds, amla, bahera, babul bark, or natron.[5][6] The fired salt melts, the chemical reaction occurs, and the salt is then cooled, stored, and aged prior to sale.[7][3] Kala namak is prepared in this manner in northern India with production concentrated in Hisar district, Haryana.[6] The salt crystals appear black and are usually ground to a fine powder that is purple.

It's so rare they produce tons of it. LOL. I think rare wasn't the best choice of words.
In terms of the total production of salt by humanity, tons are an extremely small part. I would be the only one to stutter.
Olá amigos passando pra deixar meu like e fortalecer o canal juntos somos mais fortes
I would never buy black salt again
The woman with the mallet should be shown how to use a wedge, it would be much faster and more efficient and easier on her shoulders and hands.
What country is this?

Awful working conditions. So sad to see.
They are probably happy just to have a job. We live in a wealthy country that is going bankrupt, we may eventually be making black salt ourselves. Count your blessings and LOVE your job.
I agree I guess they are happy and proudly about this job. But I also agree it's pain to see the working conditions they dealing with, from a Europe view. so I really hope they get help, and money to be able to change the work to a healthy way to run the Business. Often the savety gear is unable to pay because the high amount of costs.
Well amazing 🤔

This was the source of salt for people living in countries that have no sea shores or are too far away.
Some people's lives are dependent on this econmy. Why would you want to deprive them of their livelihood?.
Since white rock salt is abundant then Why it is becoming black is defined as "rare" ....????

Zero segurança no trabalho, máximo de insalubridade.
They work for a pittance. Low price commodity. Not worth any high tech industrialisation. Only the middlemen traders and retailers can benefit.
Salutations comrade, but this is not a viable economy due to the relatively low price of the commodity. Still I agree some help should be rendered on humanitarian grounds.
i to jest eco

EKOLOGIE? 🤣
The job from hell. No mask, gloves, and working in sandals. Poor bastards, but as long as their bosses are getting wealthy I guess it's OK??? 😢
You think this is bad… go watch the guys from these countries work on trucks, welding steel, running heavy equipment like grinders steel lathes etc. with sandals no gloves welding helmets just handheld face shields the accident rates must be outrageous I can’t believe they live past 40 years old.
I wouldn't like to be the people that use this salt. That the salt was under many people's feet and was in the dirt. At least I know mine is made in the USA. I will stick to sea salt, good old Morton's
Most of you people from USA are ignorant .
