I use instant coffee , I put it in between my chick and gum like chewing Tabaco when I am on the move and no time to make cowboy coffee. That's the only time I use Instant.
@@RedswedeOutdoorsYears back, I took my first SAK (circa late 60's and then +20 years old) into a Victorinox Dealer (Sharp Edge, Carlton Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa) to get the little Screw Driver that fits into the Cork Screw. He noticed that the tip of the large blade had broken off and offered to have the knife sent away to have the blade replaced, free of charge. I thanked him but refused .. stating that I liked it as it was and that it was a conversation topic as what NOT to do with one's knife. Definitely worth asking.
😂 I like my instant coffee, but only 1 specific brand. Mix it strong when you wake up and you will have energy all day. But I recently splurged and got a portable kettle, so I have been using traditional coffee instead
🤔 .. a subject with endless variables. Instant Coffee .. I prefer Ground Coffee .. 2nd choice when out in the Field, the Coffee Bags, but often do the Instant Version due to it's convenience .. especially in Urban Areas. But then, I'm a Philistine 😏. Taken strong, black with no suger, a pinch of salt adds to the taste (or lack thereof 🙄).
I haven't tried the coffee bags, never seen them in stores in Sweden. If it's because stores don't keep them or if I haven't been looking is an open question... ;-)
Another severe disliker of instant coffee. If I get to chose, it's always proper ground beans. But, as I'm a kind soul, when (too many) people offer me instant coffee when visiting or otherwise, I always try to find the most luscious description of the (inferior) taste.
When one tasted the good stuff it's hard to see instant as anything but the wasted potential of perfectly good coffee beans. It has the distinct taste of misery and broken dreams. It's better than no coffee at all, but not by much. Take care!

Mate, Victorinox warranty their work. I reckon you would do well to make enquiries. They did me proud with my champ.

Instant coffee should never be there and those few times I drink it I always regret it 😂
Instant coffee is in times of dire need when no other options are avalible, always with a taste of misery. ;-)
