I've gone to Bangkok with the 777-300Er and the duration was 8 hours and 25 minutes

4 seats to yourself? ahh, you traveled in April, low season. i traveled on etihad in December to Bangkok and no free seat. had a nice flight though

Yes you are right. April falls in the low season. On the way back, there were very few empty seats as passengers from other airlines shared the same flight. So I guess I got lucky this time.
