    For all of the people debating this in the comments, remember that all instruments play a vital role. I'm a tuba player. My band teacher once said that "The band is the conductor's instrument." It's true. Every instrument contributed to the ensemble sound, and every instrument is capable of awesome parts.

      Well while on hold with Walt Disney World Resort over the telephone they played this song and then announced it as a song from Disney's Expedition Everest. So I didn't just pull this information out of my butt and it's not just my opinion or something. But thanks for playing.

    I'm so cool, I played this with a professional symphony when I was 5 and was first chair trumpet, horn, oboe, and flute. At the same time. (Did I mention I lost my left hand in Vietnam?) It was so much fun! The best part was that I was better than everybody else!

    @foxtrotin5 Před 5 lety +1

    I played this as a sax. No, I wasn't first chair, far from it. I wasn't good, I'll admit. But when my director handed me this piece, I listened to this video for hours, just trying to fit the tone and mood to my squeaks-ophone. I actually practiced this piece, and finally, my last concert for freshman year, we played it. I decided not to take band the next year, but listening to this gives me a heavy dose of nostalgia.
    I'm really gonna miss being in band; the fun we had, the stories we told, (the time we wasted), but most importantly, the music we made: as a family. I wish I was able to be a great sax, but I chose something different- for the best of the band.
    I'm really glad people are listening to this masterpiece. Have a blessed day. :)
    And goodbye band.... I look forward to listening to all the concerts

    @LovesAnimals95 I was supposed to play this piece (1st chair Clarinet :D) this past March for a music competition, but I broke my jaw in a sledding accident 3 weeks before the concert... My band still played it beautifully. So proud of us for pulling it off! You should see the music for it! EPIC!

  • @stephanieschwender8158

    So, my band director got the composer of this song to write a song for senior band and he also directed this song when we played it!

    Instead of arguing over which instrument is the best, let's just listen to the music. Honestly, everyone will think that their own instrument is the best out of every instrument there is. It's an opinion, guys.

    this song was also written with very important brass parts, especially trumpet, as Rossano Galante had trumpet as his main instrument

    Rossano Galante does not write 20 pieces. He writes one piece 20 times. This is not necessarily a bad thing.

    I play percussion one on this which is sleigh bells, shaker thing (not sure what its called) and triangle. And oooohhhh man those eight notes were hard to keep straight. We preformed in a festival for this and the guy was like yeah you're leading half the band in tempo. That was a stressful moment.
