- This is start up video on how to use a crystal ball, one of the greatest witchcraft tools as it is sooo beautiful. I love a crystal ball, mine came from my mother, who used it to wow guests at parties, and it lived on the table in our sitting room. When I inherited it, I placed it too on my table (wooden) in the front room. However every couple of days I would come in to find a scorch mark on the table (I was very slow on the uptake) and finally after a good few months, realised that it was the sunlight hitting the crystal ball and burning the table. Ooops. Now it is under cover as all good crystal balls should be kept and only brought out for readings.

This was just fascinating! My step father is of Romany descent, and he told me his mother used to read crystal balls, tarots and palms. I also love the sound of your voice. It is so melodic and soothing. I could listen to you for hours!
I own a crystal ball. When I was about 13 years old I seen one in a metaphysical shop called the Celtic spirit (sadly now closed 😩) and even though it was way out of my teenage price range I saved up with the help of my grandmother and proudly bought my crystal ball for I think £50 that was way back in the very early 2000s I'm now 35 and still love to display it on my altar 🔮
On my last trip to the had to one of our metaphysical with my wife I was looking through the shelves and I wandered past two lonely crystal balls 🔮 as I stared to walk away I felt something in my heart drawing me back to one of the two,long story short the one came home with me and I found this video very informative in the start of my journey into scrying
Ginny I love your videos and the information you share. I have a suggestion/request. The music you play in the background while you're speaking can become distracting. Not sure if others feel this way but I'd enjoy just hearing you, while you speak. Many blessings.
Noted, I have noticed that the background music can be a bit loud on occasion and maybe will try my next video without it… could you let me know how that goes?

When i was around 11, I was just getting into witchcraft and I bought a crystal ball. As soon as I opened it, I saw loads of silver coins laid out on a purple silk cloth through it for a second, and then I never saw anything again! Of course I was young and had no idea how to properly read one, but it has intrigued me to try again properly

I absolutely love ice crystals on trees in the woods during winter. And as a little girl I’d gaze into pretty marbles from the 10 cent store but now I have a couple crystal balls.

I recently got a Crystal Ball. However, I did not get it for the practice of any occult. I got it because I collect different types of Crystals and Stones. When the sun shines on it, it's really beautiful, it creates a halo effect on the Crystal Ball. I don't feel anything, when I look at it, but I try too. What's amazing to me is the multiple colored lights, and the reflections are upside down! It's really relaxing when looking at it HI or having a few drinks.
thanks for the warning that it can accidentally burn something down if it's in the sun. I wouldn't have remembered that. It is a lens, in a way.
Wait theres two kinds of crystal balls? I didnt know that. Ive had this urge to get a crystal ball and ended up getting a small clear one. The GOOSEBUMPS! I also found out that im on the path of something big. I swear ive seen 111 at least 50 times today, it makes no sense 👍🏻

This was great information. I am being gifted a crystal ball and I have wanted one for years, though It was something I’d think about and then forget. When I was very young I used to scry ( I didn’t know obviously what it was I was really doing) into bubbles in the bath- I remember seeing visions through each bubble and I did this often.
So I’m obviously keen to cleanse it very well and charge it. I’ve never actually owned one until now. It looks like a glass ball- so not sure if it’s crystal. Will know more when I see it in front of me. Thanks so much for sharing your wisdom 🔮❤️
Chrystal ball does not work for me. I can see my reflection in it and is disturbing. However my selenite ball worked in terms that I saw the mist raising around it however the scenes I saw were of villages and countryside from the Middle Ages, even people from that time... not sure how that related to my question. I saw another video here on youtube where they were saying all they ever saw was scenes of life from the medieval times... must be a pattern. As about not crying at a funeral it is said it is not good to cry when someone dies as their soul would have trouble leaving this realm and hanging on here would cause a lot of pain and suffering if they come back because we forced them to with out crying. When I was about 6-7 years old I had a canary I loved so much and one day I found her dead with feet curled up in the air and neck twisted to the side on the bottom of the cage, her nails and beak were turning blue. Had not been like that for long as I kept on playing with my birds and checking on them constantly. So I started crying my eyes out, it was really sad and painful for me to see her dead. I cried loudly for about 10-15 minutes and suddenly she started moving and came back to life. She only lived 2 more days. The second time she died in the night so I was not there to witness and she was gone for good. So since then I believe there is some truth to this story about soul coming back into the body if you cry. They also say to cover the crystal ball so you prevent any bad spirits coming through from the other realm, uninvited, as the ball is a portal.

Thank you for sharing this, I did not know about the crying, - my very witchy mother obviously knew something by instinct as she was very insistent about it. Interesting about the medieval pics in your ball, it might be tuned into the past rather than the future (which is a thing) - and yes to keeping the ball covered, lest evil spirits get to it, so right. I have such strong wards around my house, it has made me lazy with regards to noting what is happening in my home, as nothing ‘bad’ can get in.
Hi from n.h. I used my Crystal Ball last night on a full moon I used 1 purple candle I see a good thing coming 2 me then I used sage ,and covered my ball then I put it in my room on the Eastside. I also used 4 healing
Lol, I saw a tarot reader a few weeks ago. During the reading she said she smelled burning. Yup! Crystal ball + sun = fire. It was funny, but a warning!

I have a crystal ball that I bought while on holiday on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. I remember going in to this shopping complex, walking up some stairs, and as I looked through a glass window on my left I saw a cabinet containing several crystal balls including an obsidian one. However it was an ordinary small little glass ball that drew my attention because as I looked at it (from maybe 15 feet away) I could clearly see it "cloud over" a fog developed in the middle and then slowly filled the whole ball.I obviously had to have that ball and went in and immediately bought it. Sad to say absolutely nothing has happened since that first vision of the fog, not for want of trying :(

Thank you for this wonderful video, I’ve just recently acquired my first Crystal ball and just getting started with it, so thank you for this very informative video on how to work with it and charge it etc.
Take your time with your crystal ball, without divining! Just so you learn each others energy. Take a ritual bath, before 1st session, invite your spirit guides to help you, recommend absolute silence, sit gaze, keep focused & ask for answers. Might be seen in the ball or a flash in your mind! Write it down, date, question & answer. After a while you'll see how situations were answered & if your intuition/answers were correct? Keep ball covered, I don't let anyone touch my ball! Hope this helps?

i believe that the spheres were tumbled with other abrasive material in a tube by hand..

Just going back through videos, saw your comment. If you're learning, have you tried using a pendulum. Great for starting out, Yes/No answers! For yourself. Then, read secretly for others. When you've mastered yes/no, then move on because you have started to develop intuition! Have you seen White Feather Tarot! Might be worth a watch to develop tarot skills! Blessings!

depends how much you use it, the more you use it the less time the charge will last. Take your notes about this from the ball itself

Is there other light than candles to use for this? I love in an apartment and can't use candles. I also do have to say yes, we had a small fire due to sunlight finding its way through my crystal ball. Luckily someone was home and also that I had protection stones around it, the fire was very small and didn't cause a lot of damage. Thanks! :)
Perhaps you could try battery operated candles, or if you're in a room with a screen of some sort you could try putting up a video of candles in darkness or even a fireplace video. I really don't know personally, just some ideas that popped in my head.

It should be a glass, what is needed to work is your intention :)
You can try . Did not work for me but my selenite ball works. You can also scry in any shining surface like a mirror painted black, obsidian stone or ball...onyx, rock crystal, water surface in a dark bowl.

The background music is very distracting to the video. Love all your videos except the music on this video. The music is just a bit annoying kind of like nails on a chalkboard. The whistling sounds in the song are grating on the ears, whereas your other video have great background music. Thx for great videos.
