How to be a witch | Tips and Tricks for beginner witches | Baby witch tips

- I havent done a tips and tricks video for baby witches yet and when I was making this video, it seemed that there were loads of witchy tips for both the learning witch and the more experienced. Even advanced witches need some help with these sometimes - I know that I love a witchy tip or two. When looking through other witches’ videos on this subject as I dont want to copy them after all, I noticed that my tips are much more simple, of course I am all about the ease of the witchcraft. You dont need expensive ingredients, you dont need loads of equipment, time and an open mind do more for learning witchcraft than anything else.

Love how practical your book of shadows is Ginny. I think so many people, including myself, may have or still hold off books of shadows because of the irrational pressure to have a perfect / hyper aesthetic book.
Great top tips! For smudging I grow my own sage(herbs), putting my energy into it, talk to it as I walk past(lol) then dry it, make my own bundle. So much cheaper & it's personal.
I speak to my plants, too 😊
Loved this Ginny! I always tell my coven to practice every day even if it's lighting a candle when you wake up and pulling a tarot card for your day.

I just found your channel and after following many witch content creators (and I do enjoy them) - YOU resonate with me the most. I feel such a connection to you and immediately I was thinking "now this is a woman I can really learn from." I am a "new" witch after having finally realized I have been a witch my whole life - but have lived my life in denial about it because I was a lifelong Christian. Finally, this past summer of 2023, I was able to set myself free from the bondage of that nasty religion and easily slipped into being my authentic self - an earth/nature witch. I cannot describe how letting religion go and walking away has been so very liberating and not to be under constant judgement/condemnation all the time! Enough rambling. I just wanted to say I am so glad to have found you and subscribed. I look forward to viewing your library of videos and learning so much more about this beautiful and empowering craft.

I too was a christian for many years. I ended up getting a job at a funeral home and ended up getting in touch with the paranormal....mostly good encounters. The church immediately stepped in a made me shut down my abilities....so I did 😢
The past decade I have slowly deconstructed from religion and realized I am a witch.....a kitchen witch to boot (love ti create for spreading love and healing)😊
So for the past few years, I have come home to who and what I really am (I was a witch in a past life....perhaps in a few lifetimes 🤔).

This video is wonderful. I started more than one notebook because I needed a way to release negative thoughts so I have a positive thoughts notebook, negative thoughts book and one with spells as I do them. I love the idea of writing dates & times with each spell when done. I love meditation but I'm not good with the visualization aspect. I think very hard about the things but can't seem to visualize them. Again thank you for a great video. Blessed Be!
Thank you for this. Especially for the advice about demons . After a lot of trauma my house had demons and they were terrifying. I got rid of those, although at the time I didn't think I knew what I was doing. Again thank you.
I am utter rubbish with meditation. I either fall asleep or think of 500 other things I need to do. I do love my pendulum though!! I recently was a guest speaker at a collage class on religions. Brief history on witches, sabbats, and practices. They were facinated with my pendulum, their inability to get him to work, loved that I could get answers and was correct.

Just discovered your videos. I love them. I was totally fine till you mentioned Ouija boards. Ancient Chinese used a type of ouija board as did Greek and many others. If you set up boundaries entities are bound by them. So many people have a scary OUIJA board story. Makes them feel special. If you go looking for negativity you will find it. If you go looking for positivity you will find it. Protection rites work. I have never had a bad experience with Ouija because I know how to set up barriers and boundaries and also get protection from spirit guides and friends and family. Just like some people being good at one form of magic and some aren't, some are better at Ouija than others. Much love and respect.
But why would you want to talk with demonic entities? What they say is never to your benefit?
I don't believe I'm talking to demons unless I deliberately ask for one. There are people who claim that mediums only bring through demons disguised as friends and relatives.
I think we know better.
It's no different with OUIJA in my belief.

I really enjoyed learning your thoughts on this topic. You brought a different perspective to a frequently vlogged subject. The thing I appreciated the most was that you did not do what many others do, and that is to essentially give a shopping list rather than information. (Spirituality shouldn't begin with commercialism. Also I dislike anything that perpetuates the idea of something being an aesthetic rather than a way of life.) Thank you.

I do so enjoy your videos. I am not new but I watch all your videos. Just because I so enjoy them and you and you actually teach and educate and help people better understand things they might not have or you give knowledge on something that hasn't been talked or show and I love that you do beginner and more advanced craft knowledge I just adore you and am very grateful for you as well and your vibration and happy kind personality and just caring nature to tech real information and make sure it's understandable is very important and appreciated. I love my pendulum as well I have only had it for a short period of time but I do love it. I feel like I'm maybe a eclectic witch who started with Wicca first and I have grown and I believe I'm becoming more traditional and I feel called by my Ansestors to this path. I have done my DNA and I knew what my Momma had told me but I know nothing of my bylogical Dad family heritage so I'm hope to learn and do my DNA testing again add him now that I know for sure he is my bylogical Dad and he and my mother and grandparents have all passed. But I am English, Irish, Welch, Dutch and Scottish.is the biggest part of my DNA 🧬. And I so long to learn and carry on and honor them.♥️🦋
I'd also like to ask you Ginny about the healing spell you did that helped you with your back? I am struggling with wide spread nurve pain and fibromyalgia and cystic nurve pain from a injury I got we I was a in home caregiver and the others started about almost 2 years ago. Could you maybe suggest a spell that might could help me? I am only 50 I'll turn 51 in May.😉 I'm not ready to lost my mobility 🥺💙 and I struggle with depression but I'm doing good now it was just a major shock. But I got really sick in February 2020 lost my Mom in March and It was right as before covid 19 came out and I was working at Walmart as a cashier at the time and I got so so VERY sick! And sense then it took me a year to get over my breathing sickness part but then I started with wide spread nurve pain. My sister and fience think my body just said ok that's enough I am also a survivor of abuse sex physical and mental. So I have been through and survived Alot! And I found the love of my life I've got children and grandchildren I want to try to heal myself I've got a new grandbaby on the way . I've finally got my life right and so much better and now it's hard for me just to do simple house work or go for a walk or just take my dog to potty sometimes. SORRY so long I don't want sympathy I just saw where you healed your back and I'm will to give it a go! For myself and my family. I am so sorry but healing spells are not really my thing, I am not particularly talented at them, you would be better at finding someone who has the talent (lots of reiki practitioners are secret witches). The one that I did was to withdraw the ‘bad energy’ from my back and then strengthen with ‘healing energy’ which I took from the surrounding garden. However it is tricky - you might be better off with a faith healer instead.

I fall more into the coffee witch kind of person more because I don't do spells but also a solitary witch too and practical witch too. I don't have flowers that are real because of my neighbors dogs
I have never been able to meditate I wish I could but I’ve been trying for 20 years
I have to disagree on a human spirit only being so nice and positive. Had to personally deal with my grandmother after she passed. She was as cruel in death as she was in life. Had to do a banishing to remove her from my and my mother’s lives in fact.
Interesting but I think what you were experiencing was your grandmother who had not passed over and she had got something horrid attached to her. This often happens, as pure human spirits who are passed over cannot physically or mentally harm or hurt you.

Have you tried shamanic meditation they are good like calling the ancestors through the ages , at a drum north american first native american workshop. I found this very good for opening the 3rd eye.

question I have been practicing magic for over 30 years my son was killed five years ago and we don’t know how he was murdered a lot of my family members told me it was because of my magic and will have practice he was harmed I’ve never done no harm to anyone I just started practicing again and it’s all come back to me and it makes me feel so wonderful it makes me feel like I’m a whole person my question is what do you think about what my family said?

My younger brother passed away from cancer this last january. My grandmother had told my mother he had cancer because she was so old when she had him (41). Some people are just awful and hurt people without thinking. Absolutely none if it was your fault and I do not doubt that your son would want you to follow a path that brings you joy and fulfillment. I am sorry that you had to go through losing your son, to only have your family say such awful things. Blessed be, sister.

It is only human spirits (who have passed over into spirit) that cannot move a ouija. Angels deal with higher issues, fairies do it for merriment so the people who speak with ouija are either speaking with demons or earthbound spirits (who generally have entities attached)
Magic is another Word for Intuition. Tip if you have the talent to work with spirits: put out the intention that you only want to work with the light. Keep yourself form negative images and movies that show "bad spirits", what you focus on you will attract. Yes that means not watching scary movies about poltergeists and demons!

Smudging is a closed practice to Native American practitioners. Along with it, white sage is closed (Palo Santo is also closed). Smoke cleansing is what you should be doing instead of calling it 'smudging'. Also, ouija boards are just another form of divination. It's giving 'love-and-light' only. Demons/Infernals aren't bad...that's just the Christianised belief.
The Roman empire added that part about demons for fear mongering/ thought control
