- This is a day in the life of a U.S Army soldier where I go to my first real field training exercise or FTX in my Army career. (even though this is more like a week) In basic training and AIT, going to the field or doing FTX's may seem intimidating but it really isn't that bad. As always if you liked the video, like it, subscribe if you're new, and comment any questions below!

I really appreciate how you’re always taking us with you on your journey in the military. It’s really given me some insight on what to look forward to.

You should make a fitness video. Like either preparing for the army or your gym routine.
Iron Wolf on yt
“Who you talking to”got me dead😂😂
Love the video good job.
Great video 💯
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS DUDE
Congratulations on taking the point and enlisting, especially to the Infantry. Welcome to the hall of horrors. Infantry is a rewarding career, but it has its downsides....such as combat and the stuff you do and see. 10th Mountain...wow, that's a hardcore Division you are in!
His MOS is 68E
Aaron, dude, love your channel bra.LOL.Reminds me when I was active duty.4yrs US Navy,6YRS US Army,4 tours to Iraq-first 3 tours all combat,BABY!!! LOL.Volunteered to deploy to IRAQ with national guard units!!! HOO-RAH!!! LOL.😁😁SEMPER-FI!!! First tour was with an infantry unit(2005)my battalion was attached to 2nd Marine Div-GET SOME!!!LOL.My combat patch is/was 2nd Marine Div-we did joint ops with them.Kicked in countless doors, searched endless cars, too many fire fights to forget. If bullets weren't flying over or around us,we were SHOCKED!!! LOL.Arrested and detained countless opponents.Saw numerous explosions-BIG and SMALL.Had rpgs fly a couple feet over my head numerous times.Unfortunately we had 12 KIAs and 8 severely wounded out of a battalion, our brigade went to CAMP TILAN(GREEN ZONE)They were chilling up there.😎😎DID back-to-back deployments to Iraq-GET SOME!!! I almost thought I was watching a reality show. 🔥🔥🔥
Learned from you 💯
Awesome video! Thanks for your service

Joining the CAF in about 3 months really sick to see how the US army does field training
We gotta do a video some day man
@@AaronbTV let’s do it mate I’m hella down
Good job Warrior. That is the suck and fun!
10th Mountain! Climb to Glory! The only way to get there is to fly!
I appreciated you showing these videos to new recruits, it probably breaks the ice and sparks interest. Also your unit seems super cool and y’all have quality training. Are you 68W?
Thank you.
That pack looks light AF soldier
Excellent Video and do you like Snow?
My guy Ralphy at 8:56 LMFAOOO lurking in the camera
That’s crazy! 😂😂
@@rafaelmarcelino1712 Got yo ass on 4K lol.
Surprised to hear metal music in the background, you got any metal songs/bands that you like?
I listen to everything, don’t really have a specific band if I like how it sounds I like it lmfao
Oou that elbow macaroni fire
fire
Is it August or April? If August, there is too much covering on the troops. I assume that Fort Drum has a normal weather pattern.
Man this making me pumped up for MEPS
meps is definitely the worst 😂
@@confusenconquer yeah fuck the army dog…
But hey I just got to my second duty station and i’m about to pick up spc soon.
@@confusenconquer nah fr though, i done been in for a minute now. Just got to my second unit and picked up spc.
Would there be any other branch or spec ops you would have wanted or planing on joining like for me I wanna join the SEALs
Good video.
Are there live rounds being used on the field, if so what kind of rules are there so ppl don’t accidentally shoot each other?
Sometimes, I miss going to the field. Other times, I’m like nahhh! 🤣 Good video 😀
The field wouldn't be so bad if 1) we were actually training for deployment and that means actually being in at least a simulated desert environment if not NTC in California. And not this jungle training non sense that makes it looks like we're training for vietnam 50-60 years ago
2) we at least had a shower every few days to clean the shit from our asses properly
3) we didn't have to stay too damn long and if we did have to stay more than a few weeks, we should at least get paid for it.
The field is one of the many things that will make you wish you had joined the air force instead of the army.
Hello Mr, I'm a Nigerian and would love to join the United States Air Force. How can i do that or what's your advice ? NB: I've gotten my international passport
Hey what's the longest you can stay in the field and what if your phone dead out there?
@@gabriellegordon5803 you could be in the field 1-5 days for a short FTX, or 1.5-4 weeks or more with the longer FTXs. Depending on your unit, you may or may not be allowed to bring phones and electronics. Also, depending on your unit, you may or may not have access to power outlets to charge your phone or other devices.
@justAnotherArmyVet
Thanks for the that information means alot🤗
How arent you like famous yet like WHAT?
Is there any way I can get in contact with you man I’m currently getting ready to join the going thru the recruit process I just need a bit of information
Yooo shit like this makes me wanna join up! Hooo Rah!
10:48 bro I know that field life be having y’all OUT “APRIL 4th, APRIL 5th?” Brotha didn’t even know what month it was
Lmfao august 😅
Aye just got back from the field I’m at 2-15 what unit u at bro?
Been watching since before deciding to join. I've been a holdover for almost 2 weeks now; waiting to get my orders to my first duty station.
Did you choose mountain division or where you just assigned ? Just curious.
How did you learn word knowledge on the ASVAB?
This is some POG ass field exercise lol
I’m a dental assistant, what did you expect sir?
I only have 5 months left in the army. Should I re-enlist or not?
Looking v handsome brother ✊🏽
Are you allowed to bring recording device phone go pro anything ?
hey man, curious about this, have u seen real combat or do you think you ever will?
I wonder how many pushups that commander made u do
12:27 Yay fourth infantry division
two things, what’s ur MOS like job and two…how many field days u have a month?!
I thought you swallowed that listerine my guy lol
👏👏👏
I scored a 49 on asvab and im planning on going infrantry I want to direct ship what are my chances if I have to wait a year 3-6 months anything in that type of range I will change my mind because im way to eager and itching to go somebody respond
Do y’all eat MRE’s in the field or do they give y’all HOT A’s?
I see that AH-64 in the back
My grandpa was in the fourth infantry division eighth infantry Regiment during World War II he fought in the battle of the bulge and assisted in the liberation of Dachau concentration camp I still have his rank patch unit patch and his helmet and a bunch of pictures he took during the war
Real cool. Too bad nothing like that is happening today. Your grandpa most likely didn't have to push a lawnmower and scrub out toilets like so many modern day Infantry do because it's peacetime that there's not much else to do when not in the field.
Hey I have a question do u have to go through air Bourne school to be in the army
got any advice im going to join the Canadian armed forces when im 16 any thing will help
Deciding between air force or army. QoL seems better for air force but job occupation seems better for army.
What kinda jobs do yall do in the army im curious to know
The army stuff is hard work rough life I love the army it's attractive life the best❤️❤️
👍🏿🔥
cool asf in the uniforms lol
Seems you guys have the same issue as us Brits, mix between old and new pattern stuff as it is slow as coming down the line. Noticed your ACU pouches and body armour. Be at the armoury 5 mins before 5 mins before :-)
I have 5 months left in the U.S. Army. Should I re-enlist?
Im kind of nervous im going to the us army in 5 years after I graduate from highschool im in 9th grade I just need 3 more years to finish school and go to the us army 😢😢
❤
💜
Laughs in Fort Campbell
Bro im 15 i might join the military when im 17.
Impressive❤
Love from Pakistan❤
Love from America 💚
Still wondering what happened after "who you talking to"
Does everyone do the iv shots 🤔
Did you have to take a Fitness test before joining or after?
You usually take an OPAT test beforehand, though I know some people who didn’t take it at their recruiting station
im actually joining next week and i don't know what i am gonna face there
How is it so far?
@@jeffreydahmer3908 it’s Ight
Best day was being wounded. So I learnt, volunteer for that!!
whoa, they only PRETENDED to give me an IV. yikes!!!!
