- I WENT TO THE FIELD. This is a day in the life of a U.S Army soldier (Me) where I go to my first field training exercise or FTX in my Army career. In basic training and AIT, going to the field or doing FTX's may seem intimidating but it really isn't that bad. What type of camera do you use to record ?
A Generic I used a Sony a5000 and my iPhone 11 when I was in the field
What Post are you at? I noticed the 10th MTN patch, I got my orders to 10th MTN to Polk.
Could you film a video on AIT for your mos on what you did day to day(on an average day) what restrictions did you have? Did they have any phases in which you gained privileges? What is your average day like working in the office aspect
Its so funny🤣✌
Taking a shot every time he says "FREAKIN"
CaptAbs hell yea
You would die😂
I literally noticed that and then came to the comments
The amount of likes this gets is the amount of times he says freaking.
How about go f**k urself
I see no problem with that. It just shoes how he likes the job.
mzsty lol someone’s mad
Brandon Mbih yeah nah I’m just jokin around m8
@@CloudyGabriel Haven't you heard. No one can take a joke anymore. Everyone's so butt hurt about a joke (or any little thing that "offends" them) which is actually the truth my guy. I'm with you on your initial comment I actually LOLd XD
Do more of day in the life !!! I love to see it more often
Everyone I know in every branch says Freakin all the time.
This guy especially😂😅
Better than saying "Fuckin" all the time like some ppl 😂
Hey man, I really appreciate you being real. I served 8 years, 2 tours in Iraq. I appreciate you making these videos. Shows the real side of serving. Appreciate you, my man! Be safe!
my son left for basic training a couple of years ago. ive been watching your boot camp video's. they give me a little comfort, and give me something to add to the letters i send him. thank you.
bro is still at basic training?
BRO.@@DeBoRL
Dude, I gotta give it to you. You are REALLY helping me learn about what I'm getting into and it's giving me hope that I can pass basic training as well as AIT. God bless you.
Basic training is easy, AIT is even easier. It’s really not bad
Hope u picked a good MOS.
@@MrJoemcf09 just don’t get osut
@@devenholder1383 wdym? OSUT just means you’ll be with your same unit you trained with in Basic, you’ll train with the same unit in AIT.
@@zackviers5781 Ik. I’m 11b. After graduation it just felt like it was basic again just a little hardef
Thank you for your service man, love the vids very interesting keep it up!
I would love to see more of day in the life!! Awesome bro!!
The fact that he has to go set up his camera then leave to come back, when having to go to the bathroom! That's commitment
I'm saying!
I wish the 82nd Airborne was so chill and lax like what this dude is going through...being at brag is like living in an anxiety reality..there is no down time, far from relaxed like this.. salute to you brother
Hey Arron Thanks For Your time in posting these vidoes and helping me get info to my son who is currently in boot camp at Fort Sills Ok and will be staying there for AIT as well. I guess a lot of things changed since you where there such as shark week is no longer and My Son was In reception for 2 weeks and The 2 letters I received from him he is not doing good and that he feels he made the wrong Choice in Joining The Military and He is on the verge of a nervous break down and is having some bad case of Paranoia and He has never had this before. He is now in Phase 2 and If he stays the course he is set to graduate 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. I am sending him as well as his family letters of support love and encouragement. I understand this is not easy on any1 and its the hardest thing he has ever done and being a single mom and his mom at that I am worried for him and there is nothing I can do I feel helpless. I know he has to grind it out I know My son Can do it I am just questioning if maybe this was the wrong decision for him. Ive tried to reach his recruiter but Please foegive me for saying this I know there are some good ones out there but To Him he made his money off my son. He will not return a call a text nothing when he promised in that hotel parking lot before my son shipped if I needed anything to call him.. Your Vidoes help me getting information to my son in the weeks to come and what he is going to endure to hopefully prepare him and make it a little easier for him. This Wednesday October 7th is his birthday and he will be turning 20 while in boot camp. I am sorry this message is so long but Ive been subscribed and watching all your vidoes since my son left and You truly help me understand what my son is going through and keeping me informed of what he is going through each day each week each phase. Its also upsetting that this is the week I am supposed to be making arrangements and flights and hotels to see him graduate but due to covid I can only see him Graduate virtually and once he finds out we can't see that happen I know he is going to break. I tell my son in every letter that everyday you wake up and put your feet on the floor you made it through another day of Boot Camp The Day Before they didn't break you that you are still fighting and that 1 day closer to the goal. Now I actually do Have a question My son Signed a 3 year contract his MOS is Artillery the person who fires the shit from 1000 yards back I believe he is C BTRY 1-40th Platoon FA BW 4th Platoon Heatheans have no idea what any of that means but my question is if he decides to fight through this and see his commitment through how does stationing work like where or how do they decide where he will serve his active duty at. Like You for Instance You are at Fort Drum Thats About 7 to 8 hours from where we live in Staten Island Ny how did you end up there? I am sorry that this message is a novel and I am ways in your messages asking questions you must think I am A Crazy Mom..That is not the Case I just want him to be mentally okay and see his commitment tbrougj because he will be set for life. He originally wanted to become a cop and with all the crap going on and him being of a mixed race he felt he can do this and he has his life mapped out which is going to work for the FBI or Secret Service and his school is payed for.. Im just scared for him because of his letters and All I want him to be happy....So Thank You For All Your Awesome Videos and Advice and Maybe if You Have Time You Can send Him a quick letter of encouragement from someone who has been where he is at and how tou are doing now.... Thank you for your service......

Yo bro I got a question. So 1 are you allowed to wear contacts and 2 how do you do it let’s say you gotta sleep there for a while how does it work? Do you just sleep in them or do you bring your case and fluid?
Oh man I do no miss the field one bit. Being out in all weather, being eaten alive at mosquitoes, etc.
good job bro
Thankyou!
Don't forget to hydrate!
I don't know about now (even though I believe it might be the same), but in the 90's, your MOS had absolutely nothing to do with how often you went to the field. How often was determined by the unit you were assigned too. I was a 71L (Administrative Specialist) and all my units were field units, so I was in the field allot. But that was OK, I enjoyed going to the field. However, I enjoy these type of vids, lets me know how things are now compared to when I was in.
Do you have any control as far as what unit your assigned to… or is it just a mystery when you enlist. . .?
34:04 is an awesome background
Cool freakin video
What unit are you in with 10TH MTN? I’m stationed in fort drum too
Jetboil.....every infantrymans savior Lol
💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Super sir
I swear he says 'Freaking' in every sentence
Do nooooottttt
So can i bring a go pro? And is there a certain point that i can start listening to music when you aren't training?
I got alcohol poisoning from drinking everytime he said “freakin” 🤣
2 days? Ive been out for like a week in the field and after we come back we went straight back to work preparing for NTC in a month
Nice unicorn house shoes. 😂

@@AaronbTV 💀
Yep, looks about right.
i’m training to be a mechanical engineer in the royal navy
You should make a video on army boots
The longest was suppose to be two weeks. Lasted nine weeks do to weather.I was in charge radio relay site. Even tho I had four of my group but also over view 25 other females, I put my buck sgt in-charge those. They argue we are not part of your company. True, where is your food coming from, your power to run your sight, how do you plan on getting out of here, Fairbanks was 285 miles to the east? Plus I have more stripes any more question? Yes you may call your u it they will tell you the s be thing. We ran out of C’s. So I had another NCO go out and bring back some meat. That done fed 30 people for four days.
How can I get the address at the basic training in fort sill? I sent my boy 3 days ago.. I wanna write a word.. actually I want to send my letter through sandbox, but I have to know all the info about my son but I have no clue. Please help.
This is why parkour guys go flying in front of most everyone, except bears lol
Brodie sounds like me wit all them freakins
that boots are like sponges how do you clean and polish and lubricate them bro?
As soon as I seen your room I knew it was drum lol
*Freakin* 😂😂 bruh says freakin every 30 seconds
I meet with a recruiter next week and I want to see what I'm getting into
If I was in the field with you i'd nickname you Frick
I was flying outfit and was going to the every few months while station in Alaska.
@2:32 Pogey-bait it was called back in my days
After watching this, i pray we never go to war
You’re watching a dental tech and and patient administrator do land nav lmfao, just some perspective
Is cursing strictly illegal in the army ?
5:26 I don’t know if you’ll respond to this but what kind of boots do you wear?
You definitely like the word freakin.🤣🤣🤣🤣
That is the time to crack jokes.
how long have you been in ?
do you have to pay for your own equipment? if so what, like backpack?
You get issued equipment. The only time you have to pay is if you lose something.
Frickin, Frickin, Frickin
CAV field events are alot longer and alot more fun
Rn I’m stuck in a god damn shitty hotel at fort Benning cuz some kid gave everyone the fucking corona we were only 5 days into basic and before that we were stuck at 30th AG for 34 days. I really hope we don’t get recycled.
they wear digital with multi cam?
The “real” Army
How many months you spend in the field every year??
You did not have your camera on all night till your alarm went off
😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 the power of editing
@@AaronbTV lol i like the vid and the effort in the vid. good job keep making more 👍
When we went to field we would bring mass quantities of ALCOHOL! Especially when I was in Germany! That was the early 70’s, but we would party at night!!!
So I have a question. I'm waiting for a waiver to get back in so I can go in for active, living on base. I'm a gamer and I want to be in more than anything but was curious about like is it possible to somehow get your PC to your living quarters? Or is that not possible and you just gotta buy a new one or what ?
👁️👄👁️
you can have a pc but trust me you aren’t going to have time for it or when you have free time you probably gonna rest instead of hopping on
I wanna sing up is it worth it? There are no jobs around where I'm at. And I be smokin dat Zaza but Imma have to stop to joing. Whats your mos?
Love your content bro am 14 and considering to join the us army✊🏿
Still wanna join? Join the marines?
