  • My camper / motorhome conversion which I completed a couple of years ago. I'd never done any wood work prior to this so it was a fun project to take on! Underslung refillable gas system and water tanks, shower room, solar panel, full electrics. Upholstery by Mum!

@@user-tf2px6pv4r Just starting a Transit Custom Sport day van conversion so should be more straightforward. Didn't make a profit but had the van for 3 and a half years and maybe lost just a few hundred out of it all so cheap ownership! Hi, to be honest I don't know. From research before buying the gas people were able to go weeks with fairly heavy usage. We didn't get away for long breaks so never uses much gas. It cost about £12 to fill it and it lasted us ages. The kit was from gas-it and worked well.

Sorry but I've since sold the van so can't get you the measurements. The double seat is the trickiest part. You need to make it smaller than you imagine to make it work and make sure to slope the side of it to allow more hip room going past it.

Hi, just sanded it a bit with 400 grit, covered it in two pack primer and then two pack white to finish it. Two pack paint (2k) is real tough stuff and you can paint it in your shed without needing heat or air flow. Just make sure you've a good mask on!
