The point of the crest, by Porsche racing tradition, should be pointing at the valve stem... so its easier to locate during a pit stop.

The standard of engineering in these luxury cars is a good few rungs up the ladder from anything I've ever driven. So this is why I enjoy watching the trilogy, dde sr and August once they get their act together and give someone a camera to play with behind the scenes. You have proved that you can have fun selling multi million $ cars so August has no excuse for not being part of the Canadian holy trinity of car shows on CZcams for the discerning viewer. Please keep the format of this show it was a good balance, I pushing it here as it would make the episode over the hour but could you include some of the cars you have for sale, we watched top gear for an hour so why not SR Auto Group as I find the trinity equally as entertaining and enjoyable. There thats plenty for the editor to read and please excuse any spelling mistakes as my hands are covered in glue but that's a whole different story.

I special ordered a 997 in Blue Turquoise (3AS) (9 month wait time for a factory delivery and PTS) and about 3 others followed my lead so there are now 4 Carreras in Blue Turquoise in America from the 997 era. (It was no added cost option in 1996-97 for 911 and Boxsters). Google 997 in Wikipedia and you'll see mine with the yellow PCCBs peaking out. The 993 was a great car--but it is getting old so you need to help it! Nice job guys! The wheels are a big hit!
Those wheels suit the 993 to a T. Car looks absolutely amazing. I wish I had the money to buy your 996. It would be super cool to see you with a 930 turbo with the classic whale tail. That 993 is gorgeous I personally love the 993 Porsche’s anyway or any air cooled 911 in general honestly but I like any 911 even the 996’s but great video keep up the good work definitely need more Porsche content like this or more of the 996 build or a older air cooled 911 build would be really cool
Hi just to let you know, the correct Speedline 993 wheels are back in production and are available. you also have the centre caps for the wheels out of orientation, the point of the Porsche shield should point towards the valve stem and the bottom of the turbo centre should do the same. This was a Porsche racing thing so the pit mechanics could find the valve quickly without wasting time looking around the rim. Thanks for showing the cool car.
@@SRAUTOGROUP Yes the 993 RS and GT2 wheels are available from www.carnewal.com as I said they are the 993 version with the dimple in the spokes but definitely Speedline, They were unavailable for years but I think due to popular demand Porsche have had a batch made up. I have seen them available in another couple of Porsche specialists but cant remember off the top of my head! Hope this helps
The merch drop ..lol. The 993 is super sweet kinda wish you woulda cleaned the gunk off the calipers thou maybe off camera you did . also liked the shot of the torque wrench on the wheels after seeing them getting hit with the gun . i learned long ago to make sure i can loosen my lugs in case of a flat.

Thats the first time I have seen one of those touchless tyre machines, my dad used do fit all his own tyres he would also cut tread into truck and car tyres that was something I never knew until I was much older. Well he used to say something about lining up a point on the tyre to the valve he said it was easier to balance, is this something that is true or maybe true in his time, he would have been 80 this year . Anyone know anything about this, even those who follow the channel. Raymond I loved this episode, the mechanical stuff is fantastic, im sure their is plenty of people who like me now nothing about the shims for the pads on the pads. Extreamly interesting thank you so much for this longer episode too, the car looks fantastic with all the work done.

i was asking myself this question.i see that you changed a strut-shock on the 993 (??)...do you rebuild the old one,so you still have an extra well rebuilt as emergency part? i guess that it would worth it IF they're rebuildable ( good shocks are).
