- This is one of Europe's most scenic train rides. The Tren de Sóller takes you from the island's capital Palma de Mallorca to the town of Sóller. If you're not already blown away by the train itself with its old-world charm, then the views of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains will certainly do the trick. the train was off when we visited. We took the tram down to the port a couple of times. Soller is a nice town to visit for a few days.

I... wasn't expecting it to be such a short trip xD seems like a nice daytrip though, and I'm looking at the site (train is down till February) and a round trip is quite cheap.
