Look at the video proof. Tackle was made with the ball in hand and the scrum half only half passed the ball with Snyman face behind him. These people should not talk crap!!

Look again, snyman saw the ball leaving Casey's hand and took him out. Coward move from a huge man

@@dancalla77 look again Ireland player held him back, he went in and saw the ball in hand and turn his head to his right when the ball was in hand and moving left( it all did happen very quickly and not in slow mo as we all think) Tackle is tackle, go read rules of rugby: movements like tackles are legal to be finished when a player has the ball and the play is on, if he didn't finish the tackle then why is he even paid and on the field? these tackles happen all the time during major games and even high school games. This is rugby not some pusy sport where nice guys play. Even Faf and Arendse have to face guys almost twice their weight and size in every single game and take major hits. This was unfortunate as the player didn't brace himself for the fall and created a whiplash effect, where if he actually tucked himself in this would've been another normal game tackle

I'm a boks fan and I must say that was clearly late by RG. He saw the ball being passed.

Nothing wrong with the tackle he hit is head on the ground so and by hitting his head on the ground his neck was 'whiplashed' off the ground.

Well, the ref was right there too, but I do agree it was intentional and reckless with no regard for player safety. The ball was already gone and Synman could have pulled out of that tackle. At least a yellow, if not a red card offence.

Its a contact sport not football.
    Its a tough game

Yea its easy to make judgement after watching it in slow motion several times, but I feel that Snyman could have eased off a little, having said that, how many times have Springboks been concussed by Jonhah Lomo.

    Who's Quinlan?

extreme slow replays show a definite culprit, but in real time it was far from a fault from the SA player, we are talking of milliseconds......
question if this happened where SA loos a player, would pundits clear the tackler?

Looks to me like he wrapped him so his arms weren’t free, he then slammed him chest height into the ground. So there was no chance for Casey to even flex at the waist to brace himself. Terrible injury to see someone’s head hit so deliberately and forcefully into the ground like that. Not a brave tackle, a necessary tackle or an ethical tackle. Others know more about the laws than I do. But for a former Munster teammate to do that, wrapping the arms like that? Shame on you RG. You were injured most of your time at Munster and fans backed you. Sorry we did now.

RG was the greatest waste of money, time and effort ever expended by Munster. Craig is a star. Snyman is utter scum. Good riddance.

The assistant refs(lines men)were also be blamed for poor refering in the 1st test.Mostly as such.. where individual players still got scott free from highly serious incidents...We must compare sports field(match) as a war battlefield.Who enjoy a battlefield? Certainly, none opponents wants to be booked...cause of dirty sportsmenship. Where's the rules for... punishment?Making sport for the love, enjoy ment +...of the game. That's how sports grows in society.
