    It does give a power advantage, but perhaps also a change in the curve. Takes a good few hours, even a couple days for the ECU to adjust and compensate.

    I agree, if you want the Maximum Benefit from a 75mm Throttle Body, the throat of the upper plenum must be enlarged. Otherwise you will get the same effect as 70mm at WOT. The exception would be Forced Induction.

    • @AnthonyJ350
      @AnthonyJ350  Před rokem +3

      I think you would run into clearance issues. I would chose one or the other. In theory it might pick up a lot of top end but might lose in the bottom and down low. I'm just speculating, I've never seen the combo done.

    • @larrycampbell6133
      @larrycampbell6133 Před 4 měsíci +1

      I had that same exact question and haven’t found anyone that’s tried them together. The hood clearance was my primary concern. And if I had to choose one or the other, AND never planning on going turbo - I’d probably just get the spacer. But that’s just kinda going off of what I’ve seen other people do

    Nice video. I wouldn't recommend larger TB unless your using forced induction.
    Never by a TB spacer is snake oil.
    The heads and lower intake manifold flow well. Just the front cylinders stare for air under WOT so porting or use a spacer helps.
